08.07.14 - A host nation will cry.

Chile and Columbia were decent teams, lacking the know-how to defeat Brazil.

Germany are a different beast altogether. They have the experience and they won't waste chances which the likes of Mexico, Chile and Columbia did.

The only thing which IMO denies a German victory is a homer of a ref.
...and if there isn't one, people will claim there is anyway.

C'mon Brazil!

Hi all. Looking forward to this match. Will be interesting to see how Brazil play without Neymar, I wonder if they will look a bit average without him. We'll see I suppose.

Brazil to win after extra time, they'll probably set up to stop Germany playing, much to the annoyance of fans expecting Brazil to play samba-style football.

Ronaldo's been eating the pies.

God, that 2002 final was a borefest.

RTE panel are saying that if Brazil win the World Cup, they will be the worst ever team to win the competition. Can't argue with that.....they've played very little football and have had a fair amount of help from the referees.

Why do they keep wheeling out Mr Bionic Elbow, Leonardo for these segments? The man is a disgrace for what he did in the '94 World Cup.

One of the rare occasions that I'll be rooting for Germany. I want to see an all European final.

However, I've got a nagging feeling that Brazil (or the officials!) will find a way.

All I'm asking is that we have a decent game, and not like what we had before.

Some might say they already look average with him. They'll be even worse now.

Yeah possibly, but they've got through all their matches. I think he gives them that extra edge. I actually thought they were pretty decent in their last match.

Would Brazil players be as good if they all played in Brazil like English players all play here? Not saying they shouldn't travel, but is it Europe that improves them? And if so why don't any of our players go to Spain, Italy, Germany etc

Germany haven't used Deutschland Deutschland uber alles as their lyrics since the end of the second world war, why don't some of these pundits read up on their history? Its embarresing.

Why does Neymar's shirt need to be held aloft?
