Is Mimi (Cindy) off shooting 'Our Girl' ? As she was in the movie, so she might be in the series, maybe that's why she is off screen..

Very few of these storylines sound appealing. Lucy's murder and Carol's cancer were supposed to be huge but they feel like damp squibs so far. I'm only really interested in the stories involving Charlie Cotton, Sharon and Dean/Linda but I suppose that could change once the other stories are on screen.

Although most the story lines are quiet at the moment, I do think they will build into something much bigger. The climax to Lucy being killed is bound to be big, I think they know for it to be a new/unknown character kill her would be a complete anti climax to such a long running story line. The stuff coming up I'm looking forward to especially is, the Mick/Shirley reveal, Ronnie's return, the charlie cotton secret, Sharon's hidden gun, and Rainie's permanent return, really looking forward to seeing both her and Cora coming face to face.

I have an awful feeling the Sharon/gun storyline is going to be a massive anti-climax, just like the pathetic Philth/Dennis 'reveal'.

TPTB think Philth is totally immortal and so whatever happens he will be perfectly ok.

Which is why his storylines are so bloody dull because you already know the ending long before they have even begun.

Philth will win.

I know! They say you can only have so much of a good thing but really?! Annette Badland obviously has other commitments but I really liked Aunt Babe in the episodes that she was in.

There's never been a movie of 'Our Girl' do you mean the one off episode? And I can't remember her being in it.. Lacey Turner was in it and she was off shooting Our Girl while Stacey's been off screen. Since when was Mimi in Our Girl? Who did she play?

Mimi played one of Molly's sisters. It was a one off drama that was successful enough for a series to be commissioned.

That's a good point, hadn't thought of that. Also just realised she may have been off doing her GCSE's? Just wondering when she'll be back, hope it's in time for the birth.

I would have looked forward to the return of Ben, if the previous Ben had been returning. I feel that yet another recast of him is totally ridiculous.

I really want a proper reaction story from Sharon over the gun, attack and Dennis. Without it her characterization is suffering yet more long term damage.
