I agree. I loved Dean. Out of all the BB contestants ever, he would be one of the ones I could imagine being mates with along with Dan (BB5). I also wanted Helen to win and agree she was the original and most genuine daft girl.

I also think Helen and Paul was one of the few times we've genuinely seen two people falling in love in front of our eyes. The innocence of the chaste hugs and the fact they seemed to be fighting what they felt made it so endearing and real rather than the fauxmances these days where they're almost shagging by the 3rd day just for camera time

I had it on VHS lol it did have a fair bit of nudity and should you all the hanky panky from other countries.

Yes Blondie and you are right also with Helen and Paul with no thought for cameras.

Certainly on Helen's part she really did love him I think. I was never 100% sure that Paul felt quite as strongly but they were together for many years after the show so possibly so.

But it was lovely to see a genuine romance - unlike the crap we get now ( in fact we appear to have three on the go here - not one of which are genuine )

I remember 3 of the women jumping in the hot tub on someones birthday.nudity seemed so normal then, i guess it was before the housemates started becoming aware and interested in lads mags and getting paid for nudity.

That's a good point. When did the HMs actually start coming out to Nuts etc deals? Did Kate Lawler do it? Or was it later on perhaps BB5?
