Wrong. I loved Blink, Silence in the Library, The Eleventh Hour, Time of Angels and The Pandorica Opens. But Moffat hasn't written a half-decent episode now for years. Everything he wrote for series 6 and 7, the 50th anniversary episode and all his Christmas specials (with the exception of Christmas Carol) have been utter crap.

All this 'crap' that he's written seems to have earned Steven Moffat various awards such as Baftas, Hugos, Writers Guild Awards and his work has been nominated for loads more. These organisations don't usually give out awards for 'crap'.
There is absolutely no need to be so rude about him or his work.
You may not personally like what he does (and, frankly, I don't like everything he's done), but plenty do, including his peers in the Television industry.
Like it or not, Steven Moffat is an incredibly successful writer / producer, who has earned a huge amount of respect in the TV business.
And you are...?

'Titanic' won multiple Oscars and earned over a billion dollars at the box office. It is though the purest of cinematic crap. Just because something wins awards for popularity and makes money doesn't actually mean it's any good.

Any decent episodes of 'Doctor Who' over the last couple of years have all been written by other people.

In your opinion.

So all awards are meaningless? Including the Hugos and the BAFTA and all those publicly voted ones that have been coming the programme's way since it's return? Aww. Bit harsh. Am always pleased when Who bags one.

With you on Titanic, mind.

The last time Moffat won a Hugo was for The Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang. The following year it was won by Gaiman for the wonderful 'Doctor's Wife'. The year after it was Game of Thrones. As for the Baftas, since 2011 it's only even been nominated five times, each time for 'Visual Effects' (apart from a single nomination for Smith). It tends to win the audience choice awards, if anything.

The Doctor's Wife, The Girl Who Waited and The God Complex have been the only interesting episodes over the last two series. All written by people not called Moffat.

I'll see that and raise you Dances with Wolves.

George Lucas has also won many awards, but Howard The Duck, and Episodes I-III all sucked horribly. Good people can suck for extended periods of time. And, yes, awards can be given to movies and TV shows that suck. Just look at the Academy Award winners Forrest Gump, The Greatest Show on Earth, Casablanca, Out of Africa, A Beautiful Mind, Shakespeare in Love and The Departed. These movies all won Best Picture, but they IMHO all pretty much sucked.

Just because you have accolades and awards does not mean that you are still good at anything (just ask Woody Allen).

Again, In Your Opinion.

You keep posting highly personal views as if they were facts.

My point is that regardless of your own opinion Moffat is generally regarded as a very successful, proficient and popular TV writer and producer and baldly stating that his work is 'crap' will not make it so. It's only your opinion. The only way your opinion might carry a little more weight would be if you'd been more successful, written more TV, produced more critically acclaimed shows than Moffat. Have you done this? Then your personal views might carry a little authority.

Theophile states that his list of Oscar winning films that suck is 'IMHO'. I disagree with some (I mean Casablanca? Really?) but I happily accept that this is Theophile's viewpoint. Theophile isn't trying to push a personal opinion as a fact.
