I'm one of those people, I haven't watched since series 11 but I have tried and failed to watch it on Channel 5. I did avoid the first 2 CBBs but that's so much better than the main series now. I used to prefer the normal series as it was longer, had live feed and more.

There is that.

People can still boycott the show aired on TV to bring ratings down and stop voting, but can still watch it on youtube or where ever. If they want to affect the ratings or not watch at all, people are entitled to do as they wish and that includes posting if they want to.

i love the way this thread took on a life of its own, well beyond the original joke (which like the themes of this years big brother some people just have not absorbed and understood).

it was a parody on all the boycotting threads

mixed with a joke based on how people who complain BB is unwatchable because its "negative" stance is bringing them down, when their own constant negative posts on this thread is bringing down people who are enjoying bb this year and enjoying this forum (see the double standard there)

i love this years big brother.
i do not have a problem with people not liking it.
i am hardly going to "double standard" myself on people posting when i have helped keep the gina thread alive am i!

however... lets not forget those who don't seem to be watching it, seem to be watching it!

I'm going to post in depth descriptions of what's going on in the house for all those not watching, so they can follow along and join in the discussions, and even vote if they want.

I don't think it's fair to exclude those who aren't watching.

Can those of you not watching let me know if you are watching the videos on line? Or do you want detailed description on those too.

Might I suggest you cover all the bases? An indepth of the main show, a blow by blow of BBBOTS, a transcription of Facebook and a tweet montage (just the best bits as 140 characters can be a bit of a struggle). Is there anything else?

I haven't watched a whole series since BB7 but I've dipped in and out most years. Though I don't think I've watched more than a handful of each series from BB10 onwards. However, this is the first year that I haven't watched a single minute of the show, not even launch night. You could line the HMs up in front of me and I would have no idea who any of them are.

After last night how can we not be down about it.
The fun has gone for me.

In honour of Chris & to carry on supporting him I will not give up until he leaves that door. (Earlier than he deserves i feel now)

I'll keep popping into his thread, see how he's doing - it's stacked against him, that's for sure.

I haven't watched any of it. But I had thought, during a quiet spell, of asking if anyone has said anything treasurably witty so far.

Have you ever thought the reason there is so much negativity ,is that's all there is in the house .

With all the posts attacking Ashleigh and praising Helen, I assumed most posters were not watching the show already. Why should that change now?

I will keep you all updated on Chris news in his thread

With the heat on Ashleigh he might be ok this week. Plus with her being up she will go most likely.
Beyond that point who knows. We just have hope Chris has enough fans & the others do even worse things.

Can't say that I've been watching much of it, I missed the first week and when I did watch a highlight's show I couldn't find anyone in it that I particularly liked, or found very interesting, so have just been dipping in and out. I tried to avoid coming onto DS because I knew I'd be drawn into it, as this has always been the best part of it for me. Still wondering if I should just cut and run, as not one of the HMs seem to have many redeeming characteristics IMO that I have seen so far.

Helen and Ashleigh seem to be a pair of poisonous little madams, Ash, Steven and Marlon are typical "up themselves and trying to be cool" but failing badly, Mark is an acting drama queen. Matthew thought he was better than anyone else, Danielle is a sheep, Kimberley is the ice queen trying her hardest to get a storyline (any will do but the Steven one seems to be winning) and Winston is trying to be Joey Essex as his storyline. The only ones that appear to be slightly normal are Chris, Christopher and Jale, but unfortunately Chris and Christopher are a tad boring so far and Jale appears to be playing her hand too soon.

I think this may be the first BB ever that I really don't care about any of them ! Will probably leave a toe in the water, unless it gets really interesting at some point so that I can dive back in
