No Rain by Blind Melon. Sounds like sunshine.
That's the best suggestion I've seen on this thread so far by quite a distance!

Songs that just make me feel happy:

Skater Boy - Avril Lavigne (this definitely comes under the heading of "Guilty Pleasure")

At The River - Groove Armada

Born Slippy - Underworld

Starlight - Muse

Wonderful World - The Ramones

I imagine there's dozens, if not hundreds, more songs that can pick up my mood at the drop of a hat; but those above are the ones that leap to mind for me at the moment.

Kove - Way We Are (feat. Melissa Steel)

This song's really catchy and I only just discovered it, it really has that 'feel good' groove to it

I bought an 80's album the other week which took me back, right back.

Here is a selection of feelgood cheesy songs from the album.

Starship - Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now

Matthew Wilder - Break My Stride

Baltimore - Tarzan Boy

Men Without Hats - Safety Dance

S'Express - Theme From S'Express

And i've not even mentioned Black Lace

When I am really happy I sing "I'm so excited, that I just can't hide it..."
Another feel good song is when I am on my way home after being away for a few days. As we near home I sing "Almost there, we're almost there..." (Andy Williams)

This thread really shows how personal musical taste is because, I have to confess, the vast majority of the songs listed would have me pressing the mute button rather than feeling good

Music is a very subjective thing isn't it. A lot of the songs considered to be instant happy songs tend to annoy the heck out of me! Walking on Sunshine and the Only Way Is Up send me nuts! Dancing Queen I'm sick of hearing too!
Anyway, some of my upbeat happy tunes because they make me wanna dance are:

Lola's Theme by Shapeshifters
Where Love Lives (Come on In) - Alison Limerick
I'll be Good - René and Angela
There's a Ghost in my House (1974 version) - R. Dean Taylor (lyric may not be upbeat, but the sheer energy in the song is brilliant)
Bright Lights Bigger City - Cee Lo Green
Nitelife - Kim English
Happy - Pharrell. (Yes this one IS obvious but I do like it!)
Come into my Life - Joyce Sims
Love Like This - Faith Evans
You're The One For Me - D Train
Another Part of Me - Michael Jackson
I Belong to You - Whitney Houston
Tightrope - Janelle Monáe
From the Floorboards Up - Paul Weller
Midnight Lady - Marvin Gaye
Like I Love You - Justin Timberlake
Thieves in the Temple and When Doves Cry - Prince
