Welcome to Strictly Come Dancing's fourth live show - and it's musicals week! Tonight our twelve remaining couples will take to the floor, hoping to impress our judges and you at home, dancing to some well known musical hits. Last week saw artist Tracey Emin and partner Brendan Cole leave the show. But who will it be this week? Without further ado, let's meet the stars of our show...

Kicking off tonight's musical are Siva and Iveta!

Siva & Iveta

Training: After earning their highest score of the series so far with their Samba last week, Siva and Iveta are desperate to improve even further on that with their Quickstep. Siva explains “this week it’s musicals week and we are dancing to Oklahoma! I love Oklahoma because it’s such a feel good and upbeat song, and I can’t wait to dance to it on Saturday night.”

Dance: Quickstep - Oklahoma! - Oklahoma!

Craig: Your hand was a little splaid, which did unfortunately make your arm look very stiff, but… I thought that was a great routine and I thought you danced it beautifully.

Darcey: Wow Siva, what a way to start musicals week! You certainly came out here and gave us a performance! It was so much fun, so full of energy and so carefree, and that’s just what a Quickstep needs.

Len: Oh Oklahoma where the wind comes sweeping down the plain! You know what, this is such a positive and joyous song, and you made your Quickstep just that. No criticisms what so ever.

Bruno: Oh my, so much was happening I think I was about to go blind. You are really good at these quick dances, but you have to make sure you can dance the slow ones too - it’s just a matter of balance. But I did love this, and I think everyone here in the studio did too.

Training: Dancing the Cha Cha Cha to Fame this week are Mel and Robin. Mel is a little unsure of the dance so far, saying “it’s a little too fast and exposed for my liking, but it’s musicals week so I’m going to just try and enjoy myself. I just hope I don’t end up with a soggy bottom because of all my nerves!”

Dance: Cha Cha Cha - Fame - Fame

Craig: Well darling I think I will be remembering your name, but unfortunately, for all the wrong reasons. Your hands were webbed like a duck, your arms were stiff and you generally looked quite awkward.

Darcey: Mel, I quite enjoyed that actually. You have no experience of Latin dancing, and it’s fair to say you tried your best tonight. I’m not sure if you will ever conquer Latin but you gave it a good shot tonight.

Len: Well Mel, you put on a show tonight. Yes, the technique was a little shoddy and needed brushing up on, but unlike Craig, I’ll be remembering your name for all the right reasons, and they are proved by this dance!

Bruno: Oh darling, bless you. I liked it. I don’t know if you noticed, but every time that chorus came on I jumped out my seat shouting “remember my name, FAME!” I just love that musical, and I can tell you do too. You did it justice tonight my darling.

Training: This week Julie and Vincent are dancing the Viennese Waltz to a song from the musical film Ghost. As an actress, Julie is looking forward to musicals week, telling us “oh I can’t wait for musicals week. Seeing everyone in their special frocks, dancing to my favourite songs is just going to be so much fun. Bring it on!”

Dance: Viennese Waltz - Ghost - Unchained Melody

Craig: Your neck was sticking in during the spinning section towards the end, and your hand placement could have been cleaner in the isolations. However, I think you danced this stunningly.

Darcey: Julie, I loved this. You look so beautiful tonight, and I could tell just how much you loved this dance. One little quibble I had was that your neck line could have been extended just a little more, but on the whole, it was gorgeous.

Len: Well, as everyone knows I do love a good, traditional Ballroom dance, and this was just that. Prim and proper, no messing about, loads of spins, a nice juicy fleckerl… all I could ask for a Viennese Waltz.

Bruno: Oh Julie my darling, you looked like a fairy out there - so so cute! You were spinning around like a children’s roundabout, and you coped with it all fantastically. Well done my dear.

Tim and Aliona are next to dance!

Training: Tim and Aliona are dancing the Samba this week. Aliona tells us “this week we have got the Samba to Staying Alive from Saturday Night Fever. It is a real party song, and I think that will help Tim with the training, as the Samba is a party dance. Hopefully the judges will enjoy our party!”

Dance: Samba - Saturday Night Fever - Staying Alive

Craig: One word… dreadful. You really are a shambolic dancer, and I really cannot see why the public would want to keep you in if you turf out these horrendous car crashes.

Darcey: Oh Tim, you’re just a lovely little puppy dog, aren’t you? You look so vulnerable out there, it actually makes me want to run up and give you a hug! I do hope you keep trying, because I think you’ll get there… eventually.

Len: What can I say? It was just a great big bundle of joy. You come out here and give it your all, and I tell you something, you’re doing your generation proud. You should be happy with your achievements this series.

Bruno: Oh my god, I haven’t a clue what to say! It was definitely, er, something… You definitely focus more on the entertainment side than the technical side, which is probably your downfall…

Andrew & Natalie

Training: After earning praise for their Jive last week, Andrew and Natalie are hoping to score a similar reaction for their Foxtrot to Any Dream Will Do from Joseph And The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. Training is going well for the pair, and Andrew seems to be much more comfortable now he is back in Ballroom hold. Could this be a high scorer for them?

Dance: Foxtrot - Jospeh And The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat - Any Dream Will Do

Craig: I really liked this actually. You looked so much more comfortable doing a slow, Ballroom dance with Natalie. Although there’s still a long way to go, you’re making big progress.

Darcey: Andrew, you definitely are turning out to be more of a Ballroom boy! Natalie, I really have to applaud you. Please keep working hard, because you will improve, and could go really far.

Len: I must say, Natalie, you’ve worked wonders with Andrew these last few weeks. That Jive last week was great, but this Foxtrot, well I loved it… and you have been on a journey.

Bruno: Oh, now wasn’t that sweet? The difference in your dancing really shows through your facial expressions. They have gone from complete frozen to fear, to a relaxed smile. It’s just fantastic.

Fearne and Pasha are next to take to the floor!

Fearne & Pasha

Training: Despite earning two nines last week for her Waltz, Fearne is hoping to go one step further with her Phantom Of The Opera Paso Doble. “We’ve set the bar and it’s our job to match, or raise it. I do get very competitive, so this Paso Doble better go well for us tonight, or I will not be happy!” Fearne says, jokingly.

Craig: It’s the F word darling… FAB - U - LOUS!

Darcey: Wowee, this was absolutely incredible, Fearne! Your lines were so fluid and the aggression in your face… wow, you weren’t going to let Pasha win that fight! I am really impressed.

Len: I really am gobsmacked that, not only Pasha can give you choreography this difficult in week four, but that you can dance it almost perfectly. Your dancing level is just outstanding.

Bruno: I have to say, I knew that as soon as that music started, this would be great. You put so much emotion into that, I really thought you were about to open fire in the studio!

Jane & Ian

Training: Dancing the Waltz this week are Jane and Ian. Jane is excited about the thought of dancing to a song from The Sound Of Music, telling us “the Sound Of Music was the soundtrack to my childhood, so of course I can’t wait to dance to it. And it’s even better that it’s one of my favourite tracks from it - Edelweiss!”

Dance: Waltz - The Sound Of Music - Edelweiss

Craig: Oh this was SO much better than last week. When you do Ballroom, you’re filled with so much more confidence and determination - you may laugh but it really is noticeable. You need this drive for Latin dances.

Darcey: I thought it could have been a little more slick and clean. The Waltz is a hard dance because it is slow, every little error really is magnified. It just seemed a bit rough, but it was an improvement.

Len: Aw, I really liked this. I love the song too, and I really could tell you were having the time of your life out there. You look so much more at ease when you’re with Ian, and there’s heaps of chemistry between the pair of you.

Bruno: Jane, you really do shine in Ballroom. First, you came out with a Tango and collectively slapped all the judges and viewers’ faces, and now this… so sweet and gorgeous, dear.

Sam and Ola are up next!

Sam & Ola

Training: This week Sam and Ola are dancing the Rumba. Ola tells us “the male celebrities tend to find the Rumba very tricky. So far, I’m quite impressed with Sam’s training. He’s picking up the technique and he can put in the emotion as well. It probably helps that we’re dancing to The Lion King!”

Dance: Rumba - The Lion King - Circle Of Life

Craig: I found it quite tiring and boring at the start, but I think once you got into it, it picked up. You do need to work on adding emotion and character to your dances, but the technique is all there.

Darcey: Craig’s right - you are probably in the top two if we were judging solely on technique, but your performance does let you down. Something is missing, it just needs a bit of a spark.

Len: Sam, I know how much you were fearing the Rumba, but there really was nothing to worry about. I think, for so early on, this is one of the best male Rumbas I’ve seen on this show.

Bruno: Well I loved it! The others are sort of right - in the Rumba there does need to be a solid connection, which perhaps you two just don’t have yet, but I know you’re working hard and you should continue that way.

Boris and Katya are performing now!

Boris & Katya

Training: After avoiding the bottom two last week, Boris and Katya are determined to prove to the judges that they deserve to remain in the competition. Boris says “after being in the bottom two in week two, it was nice to not be there last week. I just hope we can keep it up with our Grease Jive this week…”

Dance: Jive - Grease - You're The One That I Want

Craig: I felt a bit embarrassed for you - not just when you messed up, but throughout the whole dance. It was laboured, lacking and lazy. There wasn’t a performance, or technique. It was just there.

Darcey: I do disagree slightly with the others. I think, if you put your mind to it, you can dance, like you have already demonstrated - it’s just that some dances suit you more than others, and this just wasn’t one of them.

Len: Oh Boris… Latin really isn’t your forte, unfortunately! I have to be honest, I really admire you as a sports star, but your skills don’t lie with Latin dancing. I hope you’re back next week and bring us a good Ballroom dance.

Bruno: Oh my what a dis-ahh-ster as Craig would say! I really considered getting off my seat… oh stop booing I’m only kidding! Boris, dear, this just wasn’t very good was it?

The next couple to dance tonight is Charlie and Flavia!

Charlie & Flavia

Training: Tango-ing to a song from the musical Chicago this week are Charlie and Flavia. Flavia says “Charlie and I are doing the Tango this week for musicals week! Charlie is finding the progression of the competition a bit difficult. We’ve not really improved recently, but we have to make sure we do this week.”

Dance: Tango - Chicago - Cell Block Tango

Craig: If I’m honest, I really wasn’t keen on the routine. It was far too traditional, to the point that it seemed minimalistic and too laid-back. The Tango needs to be much more punchy and on point, but this, for me, wasn’t.

Darcey: I did find it slightly boring, and it didn’t really go anywhere for me. You were one of the main contenders at the start, but you have plateaued recently. It’s a shame, but you have to do better than this.

Len: Craig - what are you on tonight? The routine was absolutely fantastic! It was in your face and dynamic, it was full of some tricky technique and you really mastered the staccato head action, Charlie.

Bruno: Len, it’s not just Craig tonight - has someone put something in Darcey’s drink? I did think you tried hard with the technique, but it has kind of overshadowed the performance aspect of the dance, for you.

Training: Salsa-ing to One Night Only from the musical Dreamgirls are Amy and Kevin. Amy feels nervous, telling us “Kevin and I have the first Salsa of the series, so we’re super nervous! Latin so far hasn’t been my strong point, but I know I have to go out there and give it my all, or it could look even worse.”

Dance: Salsa - Dreamgirls - One Night Only

Craig: I’m not sure you coped very well with this dance. The routine was quite fast and you struggled to keep up, making it look quite messy. This is a bit of a step back after last week I’m afraid.

Darcey: I agree - to an extent - with Craig. It did look disjointed, but that could have been aided by your face! You really have to step out with confidence, because it makes your dances look so much better and polished.

Len: Well, everyone does have ups and downs, and although you (and Craig) probably think this was a down… I liked it. You put a different, disco spin on the Salsa and it suited you and the theme.

Bruno: I really loved the spinning section, and you really looked like you were enjoying yourself doing that. Although, they’re right, it does need a little more energy, your Latin is improving so please don’t be disheartened.

Kate & James

Training: After getting their highest score of the series so far last week, Kate and James want to keep the momentum up with their American Smooth. James says “Kate really has improved recently - it’s been great to watch. This week we’re dancing to Hairspray’s Good Morning Baltimore, so I hope that can keep her feeling positive while she’s dancing.”

Dance: American Smooth - Hairspray - Good Morning Baltimore

Craig: I wasn’t too keen on the dismount from the first lift, and your posture was a little shoddy, but I think this is, by far, your best dance to date - and it was nice to see a classic American Smooth for once.

Darcey: Wow, Kate, you looked just like a film star out there. So classy, so elegant, so Audrey Hepburn. You really gave us a performance, a spectacle that held me gripped. It was great to watch.

Len: Well, my my, what a way to close a fantastic musicals show, and you look like you’ve just come off the musical stage. It really was a proper Foxtrot American Smooth and I loved it!

Bruno: Oh Kate dear, you look so classy and gorgeous in that dress, and that dance really did you justice tonight. The lifts, the turns, the isolations - everything was magnificent.
