Robben Prediction Thread
How many charging runs near the penalty box will result in a dive in the Semi Final against Argentina?
I'm gonna go for 4 in the first half, then 7 in the second half where he gets more desperate. Total: 11. |

5 in first half - 15 in second = 20 total

To be fair, he was actually fouled a lot in this game and there were no penalty dives, whereas Costa Rica looked for a penalty at least twice.

I predict that on numerous occasions opponents will try and fail to tackle Robben legally as per the laws of the game, and referee will mostly award a direct free kick to his team (unless an advantage is played).
Hope that helps

He rivals Neymar as possibly the worlds most fouled player.
Most defenders have no choice but to foul him, because he is one of the worlds top three players. |

I think the OP is a little obsessed with Robben. Not healthy at all.

He will be cast as Wolverine in the next movie. They just need to glue some hair on the fellow.

He was great for Chelsea, but even I have to admit that Robben looks for a chance to go down more than any other player I can remember. It's often justified, a player who makes so many runs at defenders is going to be a target. But I'm sure you can almost guess what's going through his mind sometimes, he's just waiting for that touch from an outstretched leg.
That's what sets Messi apart in my opinion, he makes his runs with one purpose in mind, to score or set up a chance for someone else. |

I LOVE Robben! He is my favourite player after Andrea Pirlo. I think him and Pirlo are two of the most underrated players and I would prefer either of them to be on my team over Ronaldo or Messi.
