The Deans infatuation with Linda storyline seems to have given viewers a lot of mixed opinions. Are you for or against?

Personally I don't like it, I don't like it at all. I didn't like the Phil and Glenda storyline either and Linda is Deans Aunt in his eyes atm. Wanting to shag your Aunt is weird! Its uncomfortable to watch. That's just my opinion

I think that's the point! Its interesting, despite being weird & uncomfortable. Ill have to see how it pans out. Added in the background is the knowledge that Dean & Mick are brothers.They're building up to some serious sibling rivalry.

I kind of would have liked to see Dean essentially try to muscle in on Mick's wife and family, Matt did say that Dean wanted to be Mick, I would have preferred that to his infatuation with Linda, though I'm willing to see how it pans out, as said above, the are definitely building to a huge sibling rivalry after the reveal.

Dean is no blood relation to Linda so it isn't weird , she won't be interested in him anyway ...

He didn't see much of them growing up though did he, so he probably doesn't really see her as an aunt.

Exactly. There's no blood line between them and he didn't know her when he was growing up.

It's barely even started yet so I can't really have an opinion, from the bits I've read it sounds interesting but it's all about how it plays out. I don't find it weird because he's his aunt (by marriage)/sister-in-law because that isn't incest, or taboo, and I'm convinced it won't turn into an affair, so it's all about how Dean is portrayed on screen. If he turns into some sort of villain with no redeeming features then I'll be worried but I doubt it'll get to that point.

I don't really like it, b/c I think they could have done more interesting things with Dean, than form a predictable infatuation for his secret half brother/"uncle" Mick's wife. It's a shame they couldn't see the potential in having Dean and Shabnam build up a friendship, considering they knew each other from before, and they've changed so much as characters their scenes would right themselves.

If it leads to the exit of Linda then I'm all for it.

Honestly? I quite like the way this storyline seems to be heading. At least it doesn't look like it'll be a full on affair story.

I like it - anything that adds to Dean's character and gives him more screen time.

He's already developed more as a character and done more than he did the whole of the time he was in Walford before.
