Last week on EastEnders

Monday: An event at the Albert takes a turn for the worse for Sharon and Johnny. As everything gets on top of Ian, an unlikely Walford resident comes to his aid.
Tuesday: Phil is fraught after being given some devastating news. Ian starts to panic when events come back to haunt him.
Wednesday: Phil allows Shirley to take charge, but learns more than he expected to. Johnny is left humiliated by Linda's actions. Shocked by Les's revelation, is Peter being lied to?
Friday: Shirley forces Phil to reveal his true feelings. The Carters help Dean prepare the salon for its opening. After some home truths, Ian's attempt at spontaneity doesn't go to plan.

Monday: Ronnie is forced to reconsider her priorities and makes a decision about her life. Tina and Tosh take the first steps to starting a family but will Tina be able to convince Tosh it's what she really wants? Nancy is in for a shock when she discovers that Johnny is hiding a secret from the Carter family.
Tuesday: Alfie finds himself in trouble with Aleks, but has he stumbled across his secret?
Thursday: Phil is shocked when he wakes to find an intruder in his house.

I voted for all the Carters minus Tina (I still can't get around to liking her and her venomous "life partner") - I think this was one of The Carters' strongest week's since joining.

Some great developments between Johnny and Linda. Superbly beautiful naturalism from Nancy. Two storylines I thought would be truly disastrous this week was Mick's swimming lessons from Ian and Shirley stealing from Dean, but as it turns out they didn't pan out to terribly and I like the fact that these storylines gave those characters some more depth.

Also voted for all the Mitchells plus Sharon for their slightly shocking, confusing and intriguing storyline surrounding Ronnie's exit and Shron's upcoming storyline ....

The ups and downs of the Carters kept me entertained as usual, I also loved Terry and Alfie dressing up as women, made me laugh!

I also liked Ian and Mick's chat at the baths and Ian helping Mick to overcome his fear of water.

Ultimate star of the week goes to...

For finally conquering his fears and making it into the pool and even swimming a bit!

The Carter's are fab but the star was Linda. Was great to see some of her past bad her scenes with Stan were really well done.

Dean - Matt can cry really well! Loved the last scene - that hug was so good to see - it showed how Matt could make us feel two things for Dean in the space of 10 seconds - we felt sorry for him and were then slightly creeped out by him!

Linda - she's brilliant. Kellie plays her so well.

Nancy - Maddy plays Nancy so well - she's so funny, yet kind and loving.

Johnny - Sam was brilliant in the scenes where he was shouting at Linda.

Mick - loved his scenes with Ian. Danny played Mick's fear and frustration at not being able to swim brilliantly.

Linda, Mick Stan and Nancy in particular are just wonderful characters.

Oh and Ian for forming an unlikely friendship with MIck.

Very glad to see this back, I was a little worried, I enjoy it so much.

The week before last was all about Linda and Ronnie for me.
