Eastenders - New Peter...

I've tried but I just can't warm to this character. I find him one of the most boring and dull characters in Eastenders. I much preferred Thomas Law's version. What are other peoples views?

Thomas Law was the same, but I'd rather the recent Peter is the last recast!

Since the perception of the Lucy Beale storyline, my view is that Ben Hardy and Hetti Bywater's portrayal of the Beale Twins are the best so far.

Awful actor. Just like his on screen dad.

Implying Thomas Law wasn't wooden...

The character should have been axed when he went to Cornwall or wherever he went to. It wouldn't have mattered with the Lucy Beale story because, like soaps do, they could have just NOT mentioned him again. Out of sight, out of mind for most viewers!

I don't rate the actor or the character tbh. Very wooden and blank IMO.

I preferred Law and Suffield.

Same reason Danny-Boy Hatchard gets a hard time. because they're good looking and muscular so people expect them to be as weak and dense as the actors who played Joey Branning and Anthony and Tyler Moon

Ah I see the problem here, Last Request has one of those televisions hidden inside a wooden cupboard such as this

Open it up and put the telly on and then you will be able to see how good Eastenders actually is.

He's good in emotional scenes. I thought he was great when he confronted Max. The trouble is that mostly he sounds like he's a brick short of a load. They need to liven him up and make his character more aggressive... even when he's with a woman he comes across as if he couldn't care less. Just because his dad's a bore he doesn't have to follow suit.

Thats unlikely given Bens theatre credentials. The risk is longterm Peter will become a difficult character to invest in if hes recast too much.

Adam's acting has been brilliant the last few months.

Think you're getting mixed up with Joey Branning

Agreed

I like Ben Hardy more than Thomas Law. I didn't think I'd get used to a new Lucy after Melissa Suffield was replaced but Hetti went up in my estimation over the last few months she was on EastEnders.
