I want to create a thread to discuss future storylines for Coronation Street characters that you like.

However I have a few rules for this thread:-

1) No endings for existing major storylines (e.g. Tina's Murder)
2) No outlandish stories (i.e Alien abduction).
3) No stories that lead to exits of characters that you hate. So Michelle, Sophie, Maddie, Sean, Fiz etc haters on here. Please stick to characters that you like.
4) Please Note:- The stories don't need to be happy, happy stories. As Joss Whedon once said 'he creates characters so that he can put them through hell not so that he can protect them' this way he can explore the characters and see how they react to adversity.

Here is my 1st story and it involves the Webster's.

In my story Sally has not accepted Maddie and would like nothing better than to get her out of Sophie life.

So Sally decides to steal some money from the Garage and tries to frame Maddy.

Unfortunately for her Sophie gets accused of being part of the theft (especially when the police find out about Sophie's little mistake with her Dad's bank account).

Both Sophie & Maddie are charged and Convicted of the crime and sentenced to a term in a Young Offenders Institute.

The authorities at the Young Offenders Institute initially separate

Sally does not confess to what she has done in the hope that what has happened will drive a wedge between the two girls.

Kevin and his Father comes rushing back to find out what has happened.

Maddie is moved in with Sophie when it becomes plain that Sophie is on the verge of a breakdown (on the condition that they do not engage in any sexual activities).

Tim finds out what Sally has done and goes and tells Kevin what he has found out.

Together they manage to record Sally admitting what she has done.

Kevin, Tim and Bill (after much heart-searching) go to the police with the evidence.

Sally is arrested.

The Girls are released.

Sally is sentenced to a short term (6 months to a year) in Prison.

When she gets back she finds that most people have turned on her in disgust at what she did to her own daughter.

This could lead to a long term story of Sally having to eat humble pie (not easy for her) and regain everyone's trust and respect.

Anyone got any stories that they would like to see for Coronation Street characters that you LIKE.

Okay, in the event that Bev Callard wants to leave for good.

Liz walks out the Rovers and runs across the cobbles in her high heels to kiss Tony.
She gets knocked flying by the bus and ends up hurtling through the windows of Roy's rolls.
She is rushed to hospital with multiple face injuries and is bandaged up so nobody can see her.
She is like this for WEEKS and then Steve and Andy are there for the big reveal.
The docs remove the bandages and out pops the NEW Liz.
A completely different face, dark hair and is about 10 years younger.
Andy and Steve run for the hills.

Sorry, it is a bit outlandish, but I'm cheeky and couldn't resist. I'll try harder next time

A new villain dates Maria Connor, but it's later revealed this guy was once in a romantic relationship with Carla Barlow.
The villain, let's call him Harry, has his eye on Carla causing Maria to get jealous.
Maria threatens Carla to stay away because of their dodgy past with Liam.
Carla grows to hate Maria, who starts working at Underworld because Audrey sacks her.
Carla mistreats Maria and she suffers another breakdown.
Carla continues to embarrass and annoy Maria who blames Harry.
Maria tells Carla's new fella that Carla is a gold digging bitch and that she has baggage.
Carla and her date split leaving Carla fuming. Carla gets back at Maria by letting Harry buy into the business.
Harry tells his brother that he's going to sell the business after forcing Carla to give up her share.
Maria overhears and frets.
Maria realises Harry is pure evil after learning of his malicious plans and confronts him
Maria additionally dumps Harry and threatens to tell Carla.
Harry and his brother rob a local bank successfully to help fuel their next business that would replace Underworld.
Harry issues an ultimatum that he will leave with the money if he gets to spend one more night with Maria. Maria suggests he should sleep with Carla because she thinks he still loves her.
Harry agrees while Maria meets Carla at Underworld where they row over what's happened.
Maria and Carla fight and Maria knocks herout cold
Maria ties her up and leaves Carla in Harry's flat.
Maria calls the police and gets him arrested for assault.
The police think Harry knocked out Carla while Maria explains to Carla that she was trying to save Carla from being raped by Harry.

Liz and Tony decide to get married, but he kisses Eileen on the day of the wedding.
Eileen vows to tell Liz as she made him think she was interested, but instead she just wanted to split Tony and Liz.
Tony stops her by locking her in the upstairs of the wedding venue while Tony and Liz marry.
Liz is worried as Eileen hasn't showed up to the party and Tony distracts Liz.
At the Rovers, Liz realises she forget her favourite lippy at the venue and forces Steve to take her there to retrieve it.
Much to Liz's horror, she finds Eileen locked up and Eileen tells Liz that Tony did this.
Liz asks why this happened and Eileen is lost for words. .
