If they were a real alliance they would nominate 1 each of their members to each pair of nominees. They would always have the numbers toevict anyone they want. But they aren't a true alliance because they don't trust each other to go on the block.

It is, by the second week they are running out of options, compounded by 4 nominees needed.
Yet they are unable to see it.

I'm not surprised the viewing numbers have dropped.

Aaaaaand Devin proves my point by saying he doesn't trust Amber, who just happens to be in his alliance.

That would be a good plan to get rid of all threats but as you say, it requires trust and they have some flaky members.

Throwing competitions should be against the rules.

If Frankie was made of wood Zach would have started a fire with the amount he rubbed him.

It seems to have become a common strategy to avoid being HOH and getting blood on your hands and in VETO comps to avoid saving someone it suits you to let them be evicted.

It defeats the whole point of the show.

People can now get in an alliance of eight or so and not go home until down to the last eight.

The four nominee battle for the block is a terrible idea.

In theory but such a large alliance is not as strong as one with fewer members, cracks have appeared already.

I like the competitions, they are the point of watching the HL shows for me.

Great players don't need to compete, they get followers to do their bidding.

Really unhappy with Paola for throwing the competition and she's now in my bottom 2 alongside Devin.

Nicole, Cody, Brittany, Christine & Zach are my Top 5, to be honest. Live feeds are making me like Derrick a lot more, too.

The Sunday HLs are too rushed with the added competition. I hope the four nominees/battle of the block element doesn't last too long.

Paola's so dumb for throwing that competition. A lot can happen in seven days and for anyone not to fight for immunity is stupid. It's not as if she'd become Devin's #1 target had she not thrown it - and he can't even play for HoH next week so it's not like it'd matter. She deserves to go home for that move.

This. How could she be so idiotic as to think Devin can control all those votes?

I think Devin is great entertainment. He's defo going to get backdoored by one of his smarter alliance members but until then I'm enjoying him getting over run by his emotions. First he's all paranoid about Donny and now he's gunning for Brittany and saying how he wants her out for questioning his integrity.

I'm glad Nicole isn't on the block now - I like her.

Devin really is one of the worst players of all time, I cringe at him so much. We really need to see him back-doored next week. Though his heart to heart with Caleb was funny as hell. "I'll curl up with you, man" God how I hope Devin doesn't have more crazy last-minute plans and throws anyone new in the mix now, though the houseguests are really bringing it on themselves for going along with everything he does. The "Bomb Squad" need a revolt before disbanding.

On the subject of back-dooring, currently watching BB5 as well for the first time. Great seeing the dawn of the backdoor come in to play to evict Jase. It's been an enjoyable season so far, not sure how it'll pan out now Jase is out the door though.
