Who would it be (including all their pasts and issues), where would you live ad who'd be your mate?

A few months ago, I'd have said Peter Barlow (what with Carla at home and Tina round the corner). These days would probabaly be Terry Spraggan or one of the other few characters not in need of very expensive therapy. And to be honest, I kind of like Terry and find it a shame he is leaving. A genuinly good chap with a really positive outlook on life, and very friendly (though must invest in earplugs if involved with Bianca)

As much as I love Ian, i couldn't deal with everthings he has had to put up with- and I probably wouldn't eve be friends with him because of how he treats people. Would still be mates with Shazza though, we coud compare notes regarding our chaotic love lives (though she can keep any personal details with both Eggheads to herself)

I wouldn't have minded being Tony Gordon in Corrie while he was in a relationship with Maria. Then I would have peripheral vision, full hearing, ability to drive a car, heterosexual privilege, be co-owner of a business, have a loving girlfriend, and a baby I loved as my own, and would probably have the sense to keep my mouth shut about Liam because of human tendency to label someone "evil" for one mistake even if they felt guilt/remorse for It and tried to make amends.

Once upon a time I may have said Alfie Moon in EastEnders but I don't like the way he jilted Roxy and his current involvement in dodgy dealings. Bradley Branning in Eastenders is another possibility of someone I may have wanted to be for a day. JP in Hollyoaks despite all his suffering ultimately has integrity and a supportive family, and until he lashed out at Robbie he had a job he enjoyed (though I am glad he is able to teach life skills now). There is also the prospect of a relationship with Ste, so I wouldn't have minded being him for a day.

Alfie Moon, even though he's been a **** of late, he's faithful and loyal to Kat and will make a great dad.

And he's got a great sense of humour!

I'd be Johnny from EE, and I'd go out and find him a nice boyfriend that will treat him right in the long term. Or I'd be Peter so that I could easily go and seduce Johnny and make them fall in love.

Failing that I'd be Roxy so I could climb Aleks like a tree.

If i could be any soap character it would have to be either J.R. Ewing or Phil Mitchell, as both characters can seemingly get away with anything, i.e Bribery, Assualt or whatever, both are more or less Indestructible, i know JR is dead now but wasn't he shot on 6 seperate occasions before he actually died, both could drink you under the table and both can get any women they want.

(EastEnders) If we're going by atm, I'd say Gianluca, as he dates Johnny. Though I'd want a serious relationship with Johnny not a brief fling.

Or better yet Johnny, though that said I see a lot of myself in Johnny anyway, even down to really minuscule things.
