I love them me. ever since I was seven and new EVERYTHING about Star Wars before I'd even got to the cinema (Weekly comic, Making of on TV, general merchandise) I've never had a problem with it. It enhances much of my enjoyment . Some surprises are nice but these days it's almost like an information blackout. Would Day of the Doctor had been less enjoyable without a plot synopsis? maybe for some but not me. I also think some people on this board get fanaticl about the issues of Spoiulers but the clue to this site is in the title.

So far we have never got detailed spoilers, just some information which monster (or actor) will appear or some hints (like 'paintings') that doesn't mean anything before you watch the episode. So, it never ruined watching.
Also, I read all 'spoilers' released so far and I still know almost nothing about series 8.

The scripts to the first 7 episodes of the new series went AWOL in the USA, and have managed to find their way onto the web

Wasn't it first five? Episode 6's title is still only rumoured and 7's is totally unknown.

Don't think it was the first 5 or 6 but it was 5 or 6 random including episode 1.

yes I think that's a shame . I wouldn't read them myself as I wouldn't find reading a script entertaining. I think the problem will be if any big "reveal" gets leaked by the press. But if someone where to give me plot details I probably wouldn't mind. I knew Davros was appearing before most people as I knew someone who worked in the make up and special fx dep and they showed me a photo of the mask.. Didn't spoil the episode for me RTD did enough to ensure that

Hate them personally,I was so glad I didn't read anything before the 50th and was able to enjoy the surprise when I heard Tom Bakers voice.

I hope they find whoever leaked the scripts and sack them

I have no objection to spoilers but don't particularly seek them out. I don't think Tom Baker was known about beforehand, was it? It was a huge and very welcome surprise.

I think I read on here (afterwards) that he revealed it on some chat show
