Ok I may have missed loads but I cant think of a single family unit that is mum and dad and a couple of kids all in the same house with out some screwed up family history or extended family living there..... soaps really need at least 1 family in each showing a relatvly usual family set up... I know that not every one can be married with 2 kids in the same house with no one else there .... but not all people live as people in soap do.... I think it would be good to see stable loving none cheating families in soap.. loads of stories could still be done ....

well the Masoods did have that until Zainab left but there was never any question of one of the children not being Masood's and they probably would still be together if Nina Wadia not have decided to leave.

I think it would make a big difference to soap to bringin families that are strong and stable and not have stories attached to how disfunctional or dis loyal or seperated the family is ....

an adhd story from a 2 parent long term relationship and it can happen to any one.....

no money even tho both parents work all the hours they can and using food banks and suffering depression

I agree soaps need to be diverse but surly we need the odd stable unit about with every day issues....

not just having kids with your husbands brother.... cheating on ur wife.... marrying a killer .... living with your mum/ auntie/grandad....
