Who will win? I couldn't see a thread about who will win.

I have bet £20 on Netherlands to win.

What do you think?

I'm going for Netherlands as well. I think they've played the best of the semi finalists so far and will be somehwat helped by Di Maria's absence tomorrow.

I have £125 on Germany from the start of the tournament which will pay £1000 if it comes in. I see no reason it won't so far.

Germany are a team, the other three semi-finalists are a few individuals carrying the rest of an average bunch.

Worth laying off on Betfair I'd imagine.

I disagree.

If I was in any way nervous of them going out to Brazil then I'd consider it but I don't see that happening.

It looks wide open to me, you could make a strong case for any one of the four teams winning.

Brazil actually look the weakest team of the four, they were unimpressive in the last 16 match and quarter final.

Netherlands and LvG rocking up at Old Trafford with the World Cup would be pretty good in my mind!

I fancy Holland, but after tonight...I know Brazil played a bad game, but I fear Die Maschine is back now..so Germany will probably take it!

I think Germany will lose the final.

They are over-confident now as they were after the Portugal win and will underestimate both Argentina and Holland who I'm sure won't win 7:1 tomorrow.

The media will be waxing lyrical over this performance, which is only natural, because it is an extraordinary result, however given that pundits have declared the Germans the winners, it could easily backfire.

Remember 2010?

Germany 4-1 England
Germany 4-0 Argentina

"Hand them the trophy now!" "Hand them the trophy now!"

Germany 0-1 Spain

Yeah, its not like we've not seen this before. It could be different this time but we'll see.

That Spain team were one of the greatest of all time though. There are no good teams standing in Germany's way this time.

It's Germany's time. The team has been maturing and knocking on the door for several tournaments and now they are ready to deliver. Bayern are the best club side in the world and Dortmund are one of the next best and the Germany national side contains many players who play together week in, week out at Bayern with a few Dortmund players thrown in as well.

Germany are a great team. Argentina and the Netherlands each have a couple of top-notch players and then the rest of the team are mediocre. That's not going to be good enough to compete with Germany.

Italy, you know the team that went out in the group stages in both WC's 2010 and 2014 stood in their way in euro 2012, and also put them out then. They have bad moments this German team, and 'decent' sides can get at them, Algeria, USA and Ghana have proven this.

Real tore them a new one and are the reigning champions of Europe. I know what you are saying though, based on previous seasons performances yes.

I don't think one two-legged match means they are not the best team in the world. No team has ever retained the Champions League.

Germany have a mental block when it comes to Italy. They just can't win. Italy can lose to Lichtenstein, but they always always beat the Germans. There is no other team Germany fears.

Says who. Ridiculous & moreover untrue ascertation. They handled their amazing win with dignity and today it's back to business. They start with a clean slate on Sunday....

I did bet on The Netherlands and got them on 3rd June to win at 30/1 with PP. Stake was a £2 free bet.

Gone for Argentina and 4 or more goals in the game, not so sure now Aguero doesn't start.

My wife has Holland 2-1.
