Jarle has been in the unfortunate position of being deified to some extent by the BB audience, all because she was clearly the subject of verbal and emotional attacks by Pauline, Helen and to some extent Toya. If there’s one thing we like it’s an underdog! Jarle for the first few weeks was our underdog.
However, it is becoming increasingly clear that Jarle is just as flawed and just as human as the rest of the housemates and to some extent even more so. Her actions over the past week or so have led me to lose a lot of regard for her. Chris was one of the few housemates to make an effort with her and be supportive of and to her. She has however been quite happy to turn on Chris, (to his face and behind his back) in order I believe to curry favour with some of the housemates that really treated her poorly. She then has the absolute audacity to take exception when Chris makes the observation that he thinks Jarle has shown a side to her that reflects the company she’s been keeping, i.e. Helen, Ash etc. with regards to her use of swearing.
I admit she comes across as very reasonable at times, but then seems quite happy to attack someone by suggesting that they’re “pervy for talking with young girls”. I suspect she has something of a twisted sense of morality, and despite espousing the virtue of “turning the other cheek”, she clearly is quite happy to attack the character of some of her housemates to hurt them and make her feel better about herself and her actions.”
Sorry to attack your first post but you have got it wrong IMO.
Firstly contrary to poular opinion Chris never stood up for Jale or showed her very much support at all. He say by and watched Paulind savage her without uttering one single word.
Jale did not insinuate he was being pervy at all - she simply said she found his behaviour disturbing as did I TBH. She also used the word disturbing about Marlon pressing the buzzer. It is a word in her vocabulary that she uses when others may use surprised.
She did not turn on Chris - she let him know that she was understandably upset not so much about his comment on the swearing but the fact he went on about how she was uncool at one time and was now in with the cool kids. That was a pretty childish thing to say.
In the lengthier versions of Jale confronting Chris he was incredibly sheepish and apologetic and axknowledged that she had always been really good to him and very supportive when he needed it. Both danielle and Ashleigh were also sheepish about spreading all this 'up your arse nonsense'.
Jale is a no nosense straight talking person. she has been there for a lot of the individuals in the house offering kind words and support.
it is madness that people will be voting to evict her in order to save a nasty, spiteful little girl.
