She blanked Chris like a child then when he followed her outside she talked to him like shit in front of the others to humiliate him. She got a ringside seat to watch Ashleigh get mauled even though she was a part of the secret meetings and once she'd made sure she was off the hook she then decided to take Chris to task and imply he was a weirdo for speaking to two girls he's forced to live with anyway. His crime? He dared to say she was swearing more since she'd got in with Helen.

To top it off she then turned on Marlon (again) for daring to save himself, even though the rest of the house was turning on him. She had no compassion for him, his reasons or his situation, because just like when she heard the shout over the wall which put Chris in an impossible situation, all she cared about was her "me me me" strop to make it all about herself and how everyone had let her down.

Jale is the reason she's favourite to go this week. She did it to herself.”

Couldn't have put it better myself. Great post!

You seem to have fallen hook line and sinker for Jale's fake niceness.

Ashleigh has been bitchy, of course she has. It's an outrageously difficult environment she is living in.. one that she is admittedly not used to.. one in which everyone goes silent when she's around as she said and one in which she only has one true friend.

She is immature and a little naive, but not necessarily malicious. She's venting her opinions about the other housemates to Danielle (opinions which many on the outside share). Maybe she doesn't feel strong enough to openly confront Helen about her feelings.. if that's to be her downfall, so be it.
Purple.

This.

Plus, Jale has changed since becoming friends with Helen.

Disloyalty??? Why should Jale be loyal to Chris?? What's loyalty got to do with ANYTHNG in the BB house when push comes to shove. They all have to nominate; they all have to choose. Winston nominated his bezzie mate Marlon a couple of weeks ago - I heard no cries of traitor then. So why now with Jale? They are not and never have been close - they were simply in the same bind in the first 2 weeks when they were persistently vilified by the dreadful Pauline. They're very clearly not each other's kind of people. And I do hope we don't get that chinese whispery thing that's grown exponentially based on absolutely nothing about "all that support Chris gave to her early on". He did NOTHING to help her. I'll never forget Pauline "statementing" at Jale, finger-poking at her, insulting her, not letting her get a word in edgewise. Chris just sat there like an inanimate object and said sweet fanny adams. I really like Chris, but attributing to him knight in shining armour qualities he just doesn't possess really irks me in this situation.

No one is saying Chris is a knight in shining armour, but my point is that it's a bit rich of Jale getting the hump with Chris's comments about her when she has spoken about him to others (behind his back) and she nominates him for quite honestly pathetic reasons...the woman has been very bizarre in her behaviour since she got close with Helen.

Unfortunately, because of what's called "fundamental attribution error", there's a tendency for people to attribute other people's behaviour to character rather than to their environment or situation.

They ALL talk about each other behind their backs. We do that in real life, so why not in the BB house when they've got bugger all to do all day. People say on here that Jale was bitching with Steven about Chris being a game player. That's simply not true - Steven asked if she thought he was; she said she was sure he wasn't. I'd have thought that was a nice thing to say rather than a nasty one. Apart from the PHM thing weeks ago - which I agree was a bit off - I can't remember a time when Jale talked diparagingly or otherwise about him (no doubt you'll remind me if she has). However it's spun, Chris did say some iffy things about Jale in his chat with Ashleigh and Danielle in the pod. As for her reasons for nominating him, they were remarkably similar to what the others who nominated him cited - i.e. he's closed, won't open up, difficult to know etc. Damn sight less pathetic than some of the reasons given by and about other HMs.

I couldn't agree more, the Jale of the first two weeks would never have hung Ashleigh out to dry like that when she knew she was also complicit in the plot.

She was a decent person with a moral compass and wouldn't have been part of BB's transparent ploy to get Helen to attack Ashleigh, much less have sat down eagerly to watch it all go off.

I've read people brushing aside her move to Helen's camp as, well, would she be better off staying with the miserable lot, with Chris who does nothing, Matthew who just moans, the two spiteful brats who sit in the pod in pjs bitching and whining all day? And the answer is a resounding yes!

She could have done some good there. Been a leader, maybe, because that side of the house certainly needed one, but instead she ended up in the court of the witch, her thug and their menagerie of freaks, which led her to losing herself and becoming Helen's enabler along with Kim in the very nasty stitch up of Ashleigh.
