Bluetooth speaker

I purchased a Bluetooth speaker, to go alongside my iPad Air, Aa I amusing my iPad, and only having my laptop on 3 times in the last 3 months, I am looking to put it one side.

Except I think the speaker will only charge from tbe laptop, o do I think, but could I charge ge speaker, from my iPad socket or purchase an adaptor

If it has any of the standard usb sockets then any USB power supply will charge the speaker.

If you have a tablet PC or any other kit that uses USB (A kindle for example) you may well already have a USB power supply. They are easily obtained to work from a car socket as well.

Thanks, the charger has a normal USB connector at one end and a mini at the other

Most discount shops sell a USB charger ie. an adapter that plugs into the mains socket and which has a (or occasionally two or four) USB-A sockets into which you can plugyour USB-A to Mini-USB cable which charges the speaker, or whatever devicea you normally charge from the computer's USB prorts.

Unless it is a Creative speaker and only works with a Creative mains charger?

I can charge my Creative MP3 player from my laptop but the only mains USB charger it charges from is the Creative one.

Thanks for the helpful posts, it is a Audio Dynamix one, and found it will charge from my iPad plug, or the adaptor I got with Headphones

Be wary of such cheap USB chargers. They are made in a country known for cheap tat and often have poor insulation between input and output. Read this:
