Only Robbie Savage as a commentator on the BBC can make me switch over to ITV.

That's exactly how I see it

I could understand if the adverts were during the game, but they're not.

I find them great at half time, because I can get up & not feel as though I'm missing any analysis.

I don't find any real difference between the quality of the coverage between the two channels & it's purely down to who is commentating.

I'm always one of the minority who will gravitate towards ITV in a situation like this.

They do sometimes.

I asked my Dad which commentators he likes and he singled out Townsend! I was so shocked as I only ever see bad things about him on here lol.

Anyway, will be watching on BBC as I don't like adverts and prefer the set up/punditry. Before would also have wanted to avoid Adrian Chiles but must admit he has grown on me this World Cup, he is a good comedic figure.

While getting up and moving around, I can still hear the TV. I don't really want to hear Ray Winstone going on about betting and pies, or any of the other inane crap that's advertisement while I'm doing other things. I can listen to the analysis at half-time while doing stuff and moving around. Anyway, with the BBC there's the red button to play with.

They have done that more than once, but that was just classic uselessness from ITV.

I shall be watching on BBC.

ITV have been so bad this World Cup I've ignored matches altogether when they have presented them, or just switched on when the game starts and listened to the commentary on the radio.

Never been over keen on Martin Tyler as commentator either.

Was hoping someone would tell me as I can't make up my mind, but not going to flick the channels as that would be too much, and one could miss a goal as you switch over. Maybe I should flick a coin

why are the BBC pundits wearing suits and ties tonight, and did Rio mug Van Gaal for his tie?

Has to be the BBC. I like most of the ITV pundits (Ian, Lee, Glen) but I cannot abide Adrian (he gives me chills) and not in a good way!!

Me neither - enough reason to resort to ITV. Does the guy ever smile?

It will be the BBC tactical cam for me. Best view in the stadium.

The BEEB for me, doesn't go off every 20 secs for adverts, doesn't go off for a quick advert just before they are about to kickoff, and doesn't go straight off for adverts at halftime, or go off for a quick advert just as they are about to kickoff again to start the 2nd half, then theres the not going off for adverts at the final whistle

BBC currently listing the line-ups, ITV currently showing ads. 'Nuff said.

Why oh why did they choose Lawrenson. Hope he behaves for this final.

Lawro is the most mediocre for me. Better than Robbie Savage and Phil Neville. Not as good as Danny Murphy or Martin Keown.

The BBcCwill beat ITV 4 to 1 in the ratings but can those watching the BBC honestly say they are enjoying Lawro?

So I switch over from itv whilst they show the adverts and get an advert on BBC for Dr Who. So all those moaning about the adverts on itv.....

Hansen and Lawrenson ruin BBC's coverage for me.

Watched most of it on ITV as I can't stand that utter **** Lawro - watched the punditry sections on the beeb though.
