I doubt the winners will care how they win.

So they are poor finishers? Lot's of chances in 0-0 game would suggest that!

Argentina have been my team of the tournament from a tactical point of view. Others may have been more entertaining, but they have played in the way I would want my club side to play.
Individually we've seen some excellent performances, even if their super star has often failed to deliver. Mascherano was magnificent last night, and he's been almost as good throughout. Zabaleta (as usual) and Rojo have been excellent, but even Demichelis (who was considered a bit of a joke in the PL) has looked a different player.
Lavezzi never stops making runs, and overshadowed Messi last night. Higuain has surprised me, never rated him that highly, but in this WC he's shown there's a lot more to his game than I thought. Pity about Di Maria, but if Aguero is genuinely fit Argentina have some strike force.
I don't think they're negative. They don't throw caution to the wind and play like headless chickens. They retain the ball and probe for openings. That can be dull if all you want is end-to end stuff, personally I prefer to watch a more tactical game where teams have to work (and think) in order to break down the opposition.
