I don't remember if we've found out this information yet? She's already in the ground so surely they must know. Why don't we know?

We do know. She died of trauma to the head. This was stated fairly on.

They think she was killed in the flat that Alex shares with Tosh, Tina and previously Jake.

Oh okay thanks. I just don't remember this and can't find out any evidence of it, but I guess it makes sense EastEnders do love a good ol blow to the head...

So was her death caused by hitting her head in Max's office? or from a later blow to the head?

EE have pushed this to the back so much now that people will start to lose interest.

They believe it was trauma to the end but nothing was confirmed. We will hopefully find out later on in the storyline.

Your first sentence is what I thought, but your second sentence just makes me think "if that's the case then surely we should know for definite by now, because th girl is long dead and buried"

not sure if the police know she hit her head in the office - only Max, David and Lucy knew this and I dont think Max has told the police she hit her head in the office

Yeah I don't mean the police finding out I mean the killer revealing how they killed her. Do you know what I mean? And thank you

They don't any more. Jake told Phil and Sharon that when they visited him in prison.

We are yet to discover the weapon. I'm intrigued.

Wouldn't Lucy have two head wounds, one from the car lot and when the killer hit her unless he managed to hit her where the wound from the car lot was which would be very convenient.

So basically I'm guessing the trauma to Lucy's head came from when she fell over in the car lot, so then Lucy's death might have happened another way that we still don't know of.

Wonder what viewers would say if it turned out she died because of the car lot fall meaning technically Max would be to blame even though really it was an accident?

It would be very anti-climatic if that was the case.

Ok, I can't find the "big Lucy Beale" thread, have looked through 13 pages and it's either disappeared or I am blind

Sometimes I wish it were pinned on the front page!!

But billy? Surely not, yes, I can see them having a row ~ probably about Lucy's reluctance to hire Billy at LB Lettings but I'm not sure he killed her........

What confuses me is that it hasn't even been mentioned bar the one reference to head trauma when Ian found out. There'd be no hope of building a case against Jake without evidence as to how she was killed... And let's not forget that someone still has her purse and phone- though apparently Tina makes a shocking discovery in Billy's flat...

Personally I would have rather ee showed us who killed her then watch he/she trying to aviod getting caught. Im sure people are already fed up of it and just want the killer revealed and we've another 7 month before we find out.

I agree, it would be better if we knew.

Really? That would be like any other murder in soaps atm. Corrie- we know Rob did it but the writing is not really in the same vein as say Columbo.

When Summerhayes was talking to Ian, she said she had head trauma, though originally I thought that was to do with the car lot fall. I'm guessing maybe the gun that Sharon now has is what was used to bludgeon her.

Eastenders enjoys bludgeoning people to death:
Reg Cox - Bludgeoned with a lead pipe by Nick Cotton

Arthur Fowler - Bludgeoned in prison with a lead pipe, which lead to a brain hemorrhage later on

Saskia Duncan - Bludgeoned with a heavy ashtray by Steve Owen

Audrey Trueman - Patrick's first wife was struck on the head with falling debris from a construction site

Den Watts - Bludgeoned with a doorstop by Chrissie Watts

Margaret Wilson - Rebecca Fowler's adoptive grandmother fell and struck her head on a fireplace mantel

Pauline Fowler - Bludgeoned with a frying pan by her husband Joe Macer. Like Arthur, she died later on.

Archie Mitchell - Stacey Slater dropped the Queen Victoria bust on his head

Heather Trott - Bludgeoned with a picture frame by Ben Mitchell

Carl White - Bludgeoned with a car trunk (yes I'm American) by Ronnie Mitchell. This one looked particularly gruesome because of how much force the edge of the lid came down on his skull and probably shattered it like glass

She saw the scripts for the Who Killed Lucy storyline and died of boredom.

I wouldn't crticise DTC for wrapping this storyline up early. There's a lot more going on right now that's a lot more interesting to watch like Charlie Cotton, Sharon's revenge and the Carters. Hopefully none of these will be dragged into Lucy's storyline but I have a feeling Charlie will be
