Spot on.

If he's like this after only - what - four weeks ? (remember they didn't get together right from the start), then God help her. Massive manipulating, control freak.

Even creepier was that clip on BOTS where he speculated about (I think) the boos. Telling Kim that it was probably about the photos and how it was edited and that she must be prepared that he will go next week. So laying a guilt trip on her.

He's delusional and whilst I understand the comments on their sexual antics and I don't understand why BOTS or anyone hasn't addressed the far more interesting and damaging aspect of this 'relationship'. It's like there's some sort of embargo on saying anything about something that's in plain sight.

If he is up next week he will have her pack her bags too because it was her the public wanted out not him.

As for his behaviour it is beyond Raylan and BBOTS audience to discuss, maybe tomorrow Iain will have a go.

i'm really hoping that this is the case, cos if she is playing a game it means that she is still in control of herself and knows what she is doing otherwise its worrying

Didn't she start as level-headed and independent?
The frozen upper half of her face certainly made me wonder about her but I recall interesting conversations she had.

Now - her voice barely makes it out of her mouth - tiny little squeaks and opinions, very much a puppy.
She's lost.”

if she is playing a game, it may be part of her game plan to hide that part of herself atm, i'm sure she said earlier in the series that its better to let ppl underestimate you (it might have been someone else or i could be imagining that )

I agree completely your last sentence and find that just as creepy. It's all about the sex and not the elephant in the room. Makes you wonder how complicit BB is being. We know ever since the show switched to channel 5 it's all been about sex. But abuse is also a moral issue that can't be ignored.

She has been shown a couple of times if not more looking sideways at him with a grin on her face when he is going off on one, Kim is not in love with this guy, such a shame whatever her plan seems to be it is more important than her self respect.

What I find creepiest is how....'parental' he is with her at times, like she's a child who must either be coddled or obedient or protected. "How much do I love you? *waits patiently*, "a lot". I was expecting him to open his arms and go " this much!!" then squeeze her cheeks. One minute he's critical parent, then loving parent. It's nauseating.

But he also swings into those needy childish tantrums when he doesn't get what he expects. And back to parent once she's contrite and they've made friends.

He's acting like a textbook abuser-in-waiting. I'm not saying he is one, or that it's in any way conscious, but that's the trajectory I'm recognising. I imagine a fair few of us recognise it.

Watching then fu¢k was bad enough, it made me want to vomit, but the weird way he speaks to her is wacko. He constantly uses words to stress his disappointment in her and sorta reinforces it with "I love you" and pawing her over like a pet sheep or something. He actually makes me sick - Kim as well for getting caught up with such a headcase - but Steven has some major issues and self-delusion going on that makes him a very scary individual.

Those "Get Steven Out" chants were the sweetest thing I've ever heard in the history of BB!

I don't think that he's conscious of it either. He sees himself (I'm sure) as nothing but kind and caring of her welfare, a good 'partner' and on paper he is. That sort of emotional abuse is so much harder to handle and often recognise because there's no name calling, no direct threats, it's insidious and often not recognised by either in the relationship. All that -if you thought anything about me you'd tear up the photos meaning 'you've disappointed me' is also very parental in it's tone.

I thought of Kim as fairly confident but now I'm wondering why has so readily accepted this as reasonable. It's actually uncomfortable to watch and if they're paying a game, as some have suggested, it's the worst one ever on BB because neither of them are doing themselves any favours.

I agree - she seems emotionally repressed. She needs to ask other people what they think rather than trust her own judgement. He's an absolute a*sehole

The way he demanded to see the picture, then stared at them with evil thoughts and made her tear them up. He's such an insecure little twerp, everything he says is "I would have done this, Why did you not do this?!

That, 'how much do I love you' was jaw-droppingly chilling. That is not normal. After being together 2 minutes. Kim must, surely must be thinking what the **** have I done?

We saw early sings of him being a control freak and bully when he made brief threats about what he'd do to Chris if he had nominated him.He wouldn't have carried any of them through I doubt. He's much more at home when it comes to manipulating those he see's as much weaker then himself, woman I imagine, being his ideal targets.I think he probably gets much more of a buzz out of getting the more beautiful and confident woman under control.Kim would have been his ideal target. On the surface she seems to be super cool and together, smart, intelligent.Scratch that surface though and a lot comes spilling out.I think she's got tremendous issues and insecurities, something people like Steve can see a mile off and manipulate to the full.I don't think Steve really understand himself what he is,it's just second nature to him,he's probably been doing it his whole life.People like his mummy dearest have probably made it a million times worst.

It's fascinating but horrendous to watch as he slowly gets Kim more and more under control. The only good thing to come of this is that many woman may avoid him like the plauge when he gets out.The man clearly needs help, serious help.
