BBOTP 12 - 1.am?

The main highlights show is on at 9 - 10pm, then some programme about Gillian Tayforth followed by another of those benefits Britain programmes.
I don't understand why Big Brother's Bit On The Psych is on at midnight - 1.am. It's so late.

I noticed that when I was trying to program my recorder last night. At first I thought it wasn't on and then I thought it was a mistake. I honestly couldn't give a toss about Gillian's bj trial after all these years.

Why are they showing this. Her partner is dead. Muck racking at its finest.

Worrying sign for the longevity of that show and indeed the main show.

You can see why they do it, BBOTP can only get 500k viewers. The Gillian Tayforth rubbish may get 1-2 million viewers. Though I doubt think anyone is arsed about Gillian Tayforth personally and think that the programme will flop. C5 are notorious for treating shows like dirt even half way through the series if the ratings aren't good. They cut American Idol from 5* a week after the live shows started!

They could even move BB to 11pm (as CSI and these benefit shows are now regularly beating BB) but I think even for them that would be too radical of a move. It would kill off the show permanently.
