Brazil will exit the World Cup like England would if it was hosted in England.

So let's hope we never host a World Cup and save the embarrassment.

Good fun though.”

The Dutch thought they had an agreement with Brazil they would play out an attractive 3-3 game with the result going to penalties. Brazil have ruined the entire plan. The Dutch are stunned and don't know what to do now. Van Gaal will probably rip into them for humiliating him by winning a game he has publicly dismissed as pointless. I expect Holland to come out and try to gift a couple of goals to Holland but the Dutch are worried about the Brazilian defence being even more generous.

I didn't see the pre-match so I was kinda hoping that the second presenter was only in because the sea had already carried Adrian off.

I think the Dutch are trying to let Brazil back a bit, but they still havent got a save out of the rather poor Dutch keeper.

Wouldnt be surprised to see a Brazil comeback in the second half, but Dutch will pull away again at the end

For some reason this makes me think of one of those rotting corpses of a beached whale.

The best Brazilian defensive headers have been in the Dutch penalty area.

The circumstances though - not even close, 7-1 and 2-0 so far, conceded 9 goals in 2 matches...

No need for the Dutch to have many changes as they're 2 up already and could coast home, easily

The Dutch aren't going to humiliate Brazil in a third place play-off so yeah they'll take it fairly easily.

If the Dutch were as clinical as the Germans they could be over the hill and far away by now. They had a 5 against 3 break on and played a terrible ball.

I get the impression the Dutch are happy at 2-0
