3rd place for the Dutch sounds about right, they've had a good tournament with the spanking dished out to Spain being the highlight.
4th place for Brazil is being generous. Still miffed that Columbia didn't have more belief in themselves otherwise they would have knocked Brazil out. Even then, the ref was a homer and allowed the hosts to kick Columbia off the pitch. Chile were very unlucky not to beat Brazil, and the likes of Cameroon, Mexico and Bosnia all caused problems for Neymar + 10. Yep, 4th place is far too generous. |

I actually cannot believe what I have seen tonight... I don't think there was a single Brazilian on the pitch tonight. The Dutch weren't even trying.
PSG have a great defence this season - David Luiz and Silva

Brazil were poor throughout this tournament, but at least with Neymar they looked like they had some structure going forward and at least the potential for scoring a goal. Brazil without Neymar looks like headless chickens running in different directions and there is not even the faint possibility of anyone scoring a goal (unless by pure chance).

Agreed, apart from Neymar who can be wholly excused as far as I am concerned.

Most people I know are saying this, in fact it seems to me that most people want Germany to win after reading forums online etc.

Brazil let in 10 goals in these last two games.
That is an incredible statistic. |

Hulk was easily the best Brazilian against Chile. Neymar didn't do much at all in that game |

The whole squad get a medal.
It was just a nice gesture to give Vorm a run out at a world cup and also means that every Dutch player has made an appearance. World Cup finals appearances should be earned. They shouldn't be handed around like confetti. |

I might flip channels, so I can get the best of, hopefully, Robbie Savage and Ian Wright; you can't have too much down to earth stupidity.
![]() ![]() ![]() You are a glutton for punishment. ![]() I shall watch Savage on the BBC for the final, and relieved that tonight was the last ITV benality on the beach I have to endure. ![]() Edit: Doubt Robbie will be on tonight though ...... guess the A team is Hansen, Shearer and Ferdinand. |

Pointless decision hy Van Gaal.
World Cup finals appearances should be earned. They shouldn't be handed around like confetti. I'm surprised ITV didn't show them collecting their medals. The whole point of the 'pointless' game was to gain the medals. |
