Hi ive recently purchased a new Samsung smart tv which as I eventually found out ddidn't come with freeview hd built in. (it is hd, just not freeview hd) anyway im looking to replace my hdd recorder with some sort of all in one unit. I want something that has freeview hd , hard drive recording and dvd player in one. Im not very technicaly minded but was looking at a samsung bd-f8500m. Would this be a good decision or can anyone recommend a better alternative.

Contact your retailer regarding the possibility of exchanging the TV for a Freeview HD one. If you were led to believe it was Freeview HD, contact trading standards.
