It's no more repulsive than watching Steven & Kim. I just want to know when this attraction started, would never have put Christopher on Marks radar.

Christopher is much more attractive than mark though? I can't be the only who thinks that can I?

Good call!!

I find Steven and Kimberley vomit inducing but Christopher and Mark are quite cute as a couple. they bicker like a pair who have been together for years anyway so what's a bit of kissing (if that is what they are doing) between friends.

If they show this in the highlights show it will look random and seem like it came out of nowhere where in fact they apparently kissed a few nights ago as well.

I know BOTS showed a suspected kiss between the two of them, was it not shown on the HLs?

I've got no problem with Christopher and Mark snogging in there, or even having sex if that happens - but then again I never had a problem with Kimberly and Steven behaving in the same way.

If people want to say the difference is that K&S are showmancing then are they arguing that Mark or Christopher aren't capable of such a thing? If what K&S did was out of character for a 'family show' then surely the same would apply to C&M. And if two straight people having sex on TV is 'disgusting' then surely the same would apply to C&M, should it happen.

It'll be interesting, if C&M develop their relationship, to see how consistent attitudes are, both on here and, as someone said above, on BOTS.

Good luck too the lad's just what's needed in that house a genuine little flirtation, have fun boys!
Both boys are far too intelligent too do more than flirt and kiss in the house.

Homophobia is still prevalent in society.

It's sad, but ignorance is bliss for many stupid people.

As far as I'm concerned a fauxmance is a fauxmance no matter what the sexual preferences of the people involved

I think they fact they are trying to be secretive and discreet which has left people debating whether it's happened, and as far as we're aware the other housemates completely oblivious that it's happened makes it sweeter than Kimberly and Steven who are so intense and in your face and as far as I can see making the other housemates uncomfortable.

Of course, which is why my view of both 'relationships' is consistent. which is more than I can say for some on here.

such a shame that Christopher has gone to the showmance darkside

A poster above called K&S 'relationship', vomit-inducing. I don't care much for it myself. Still, if M&C 'relationship' is greeted with similar comments on here I assume you wont assume that homophobia lies behind them.

I don't know, Mark has better eyes but a weird gait and ridiclous eyebrows, Christopher is a lanky streak of comedy errors, I'd say they match up quite well

No, I meant the comments on YouTube.

I don't think it's been a thing until recently from clips on the website weeks ago Matthew told mark that Christopher had a crush on mark but marks reaction was always that he only saw Christopher as a friend I think at that time mark had a huge crush on Matthew, since leaving mark and Christopher have become closer they share the bed that Matthew and Mark shared, it could be genuine or from boredom or even a showmance, although I think Christopher has always had a little crush on mark, I think they have kissed before because they seemed to know the storeroom hiding place, the camera there seemed to be a camera man up at the window so I reckon after the late night snog this time the producers were waiting for them to catch them out rather it being for the cameras

Why can no one ever call him Christopher?
It's not a hard name to pronounce or write.

I find it really shocking. There shouldn't be any blind spots in the house.

The difference between the two couples is Kimberly and Steven make no effort to hide anything about their relationship. They're having sex as if they're alone in the room discussing it with other people. Telling each other they love each other over and over again.

Mark went to the effort of finding one of the only blind spots in the house to kiss, neither have discussed they're relationship with anyone else and haven't claimed to be in love or even be a couple. Basically, if they're trying for a showmance they're not very good at it.

It's similar to Ash and Helen, despite being unpopular individually, they're friendship doesn't seem to bother anyone because it's not being shoved in anyone's face with constant drama and then the even more annoying making up.

Am I the only one who thought that was really sweet then?

I'm not talking about whatever you've seen on youtube, I'm asking if, if you saw similar derogatory comments about Mark and Chris together as there have been regarding Kimberly and Steven, would you assume it was homophobic? If, for example, a poster here said they find M&C snogging 'vomit-inducing' would you question their right to think that?

For one thing, we don't know what M&C have discussed (as I understand it, their snog didn't even make the HLs). for another, you seem to be under the belief that a showmance can only take place if the other HMs are aware of it. What about the public being aware of it, the people who actually decide who progresses in the game and who decide whether or not to buy the mags about BB HMs after the show.

I was also speaking hypothetically, and asking what if M&C relationship develops to the same status as that of K&S. Can we expect the same sort of overwhelmingly negative comments about it being disgusting or it being a showmance. And, if not, why not?
