Both are normal there is no need for it to be a competition between them. The problem with discussing Homosexuality is that a lot of people allow their opinions to be biased by political parties and religious groups. For example if someone supports a party or religion that's against gay people they will like sheep also be against gay people. We all need to stick to what few facts we have and they are
1. Both sexualities have existed throughout human history.
2.Homosexuality also occurs among the rest of the animal kingdom.
With those facts in mind it's sad that these issues still need to be discussed as it's clear neither are abnormal.

PS: I'm a a bit sexist and a bit racist too. Only around the very fringes, and I don't want to be, but still, it's there. I mean I wouldn't let it stop me employing the best person for a job or anything, or influence who I socialised with. Perhaps I should be gassed just to be sure, for the good of all our futures. Well to start with that's a very honest post YesNoMan

but i think what you describe isn't what i define as homophobic and im gay. A lot of us are uncomfortable by sexual behaviour that we ourselves don't identify with. Homophobia to me is when someone is hateful towards gay people and that can escalate to verbal abuse, violence or campaigning for restrictions in rights for gay people. Your reaction in comparison is probably one felt by a lot of straight guys and is no big deal imo.
