I'm seeing MASSIVE amounts of speculation on this board about Kim's traumatised childhood, her worrying emotional frigidity, her addiction to abusive relationships, her disturbed motivations for choosing the kind of work she does, and her dark purpose in initiating a new one.
Frankly I don't think we have anything like enough information about her history or personal life, to be making ANY of these kinds of presumptions about her. In fact we know nothing, apart from the way she interacts with Steven.
We do know that she thinks he's "controlling in a powerful way", and that she likes it because she's said so. My psychological analysis of what we've actually seen and what we've heard her say, is she's a bit quieter than the average BB contestant, probably a lot more intelligent and grounded, and she might just possibly also enjoy being bossed about a bit.
