Best onscreen siblings in soap?
In no order, here are my top 10
Jason and Todd Grimshaw Phil and Grant Mitchell David Wicks and Ian Beale David Wicks and Simon Wicks - Despite never appearing onscreen together. Chris Tate and Zoe Tate Matthew King and Carl King Max Branning and Jack Branning Jay Mitchell and Ben Mitchell Andy Sugden and Daz Eden Nathan Wylde and Ryan Lamb - Great potential Dennis Rickman and Sharon Rickman Paul Clayton and Tommy Duckworth - Never met or been onscreen together, Great potential. Do you agree? I really miss David Wicks, Carl King, Matthew King, Nathan Wylde, Chris Tate, Zoe Tate and Dennis Rickman. |

Nancy and Johnny in EE. I absolutely adore them as siblings, they're just so believable. Lee also fits in with their dynamic well.
To be honest I find most other sibling relationships in soaps really lacking. Most of them are just so horrible or duplicitous to each other. The Carter siblings are a real breath of fresh air. |

On EE, I also like Nancy and Johnny, it is really natural. I also like Shirley and Mick, I know technically they aren't brother and sister but I do love their relationship and from Mick's pov, they are. Many people aren't fans of Kim but I do like the dynamic between Kim and Denise and I loved Jane and Christian.

Not a fan of Emmerdale's Dingles, but Cain and Chas are very convincing as siblings.
As were Chris and Zoe Tate. |

Going back, Tiffany and her brother (Simon?) on Eastenders were very believable siblings.
Worst were Caroline and Christian Allessi in Neighbours. Not even remotely convincing. |

Val and Diane on Emmerdale. They squabble and fall out like me and my sister. Though I've never slept with her husband.
![]() I used to really like Brendan Brady and Cheryl Brady on Hollyoaks, but I went right off her. Steph and Craig Dean used to be very believable sister and brother. I actually really like the Barton Boys Ross, Pete and Finn on Emmerdale right now - don't care for Pete much, but they're very believable brothers. |

Bernice and Nicola from Emmerdale for me. Their relationship since Bernice returned as been brilliantly played as far as I'm concerned. Both bounce off each other extremely well.

I wish we could have seen more of Mitzeee and Maxine together in Hollyoaks as sisters, it's a shame that Mitzeee left when she did.
