I don't like what has been done with the character. I'm just wondering whether it was always the plan to make her a corrupt copper as I believe Kirsty Leigh-Porter was told about the Peri arc when she secured the role so Lizzie Roper and Stephen Billngton must have known about it too.

My reason to think this :

1) She has previous (but I won't go there)

They haven't explicitly said that one of those three will definitely have done it, so I really don't think it'll be any of them.

The only person that seems to make sense to have done it is Lindsey.

I know. He is a great character, he is a great plot filler... I feel like he needs a new purpose in the show. The stuff with Blessing just doesn't really feel right to me somehow.

Dennis has always only been someone who is desperate to get a gf, which is a pity.... Of course, now he is being written out, they are making him more interesting

This is what I thought. Just because Sonny thinks it's either Sandy, Joe or Freddie doesn't actually mean it is one of them. Lindsey is looking increasingly guilty and watching the Monday C4 episode Freddie is so cool about having things "pinned" on him and Joe. He's confident neither of them has done anything otherwise given other plots one would (or probably should) have shopped the other a long time ago.

It is Lindsey.

I agree. You know it's bad when you think you can act better and you can't act to save your life. I really don't know what the casting directors were thinking.
