Still reeling in shock, Carol heads to the hospital to undergo her double mastectomy. With such a massive surgical procedure ahead of her, reality finally hits home for the brave grandmother as she realises her life is about to change forever.

Thursday 31 July

Carol recovers from her operation in hospital, while back at home Liam's clumsy attempts at doing the right thing end in disaster. Can he find another way of impressing his nearest and dearest?

Why no episode?

Sounds like a decent week.

I'm guessing these episodes will be on BBC Two for the Commonwealth games so we are only getting 3 episodes a week and then once that is over we may get a 6 episode week like we did after the Olympics

We know from Script Peeks that there will be an episode on Wednesday 6th August, so I'm guessing we'll get the episode back then.

Really dislike Carol centric episodes, she just bores the hell out of me.

Then don't watch, life can be simple

I doubt it will actually be revealed, but the fallout would make a really great week to promote its return to BBC One.

There's more characters than her appearing, so I'll watch all I like

Some random character interaction coming up between Lee and Liam, I wonder what that is about.

This is why I want Glenda back at some point, not just for the dynamic she brings to R&R and the Mitchells but she was one of the few people that generally made Carol laugh and have some fun, I loved there friendship!

I saw in one of the soap magazines that Lee helps Liam to help his family, thereby hoping to impress Whitney who he's pursuing.

Although they are both the same week, the press office spoilers sound a lot more appealing to me!

I wonder who betrays Dean...Linda?

Would be interesting if it was Linda, considering. If so, I wonder what the betrayal is.

Thanks for the spoilers . A very heavy Carter week again but I am looking forward to it. I am not excited for Carol's episodes because she depresses me lol. Lindsey Coulson is a good actress though.

Yay the charlie plot is ressurected although it seems to be just one episode so I hope its nit dropped again.
