I am one of these people who notice small things that others would probably never think about.
The cast Andy has on his arm is so clean, it should have some marks on it by now.
When I broke both my wrists at the same time a few years ago I had casts on both wrists
down to where my fingers began and up to my elbow.
I was offered a bright red, royal blue or pink mesh covering to go over the cast to stop it from getting dirty, you didn't have to accept of course but I did and chose the bright red.
Even though I had this mesh on the casts, the dressing underneath still got smutty around where your thumb stuck out and around where your fingers are.
Andys are still perfect white.
Also no sign of bruising on his fingers, mine were all the colours under the sun.
I know his arm was crushed but there should have been bruising.
One last thing I was told to try and keep both my arms level or higher and not let them go drop down which Andy sometimes does.

Little things I know but they really do annoy me.

Should he not have a sling as well? He seems to do a lot of waving it around too.

he's actually got the wrong kind of cast on anyway... he'd have a lightweight polyma cast... the red/blue/green/pink ones of which you speak, he'd also be using a sling for a couple of weeks and yes, his hand / upper arm would be bruised to heck and back and the ends of the cast would be filthy within a very few days.

I broke my wrist recently (having broken both my wrists as a teen) and it was not a pretty sight! The slig wold only be worn when out and about, the rest of the time he'd need it elevated

Still, its only soap

When I had a cast on my arm, all my mates drew willies and balls on it, and other such rude stuff.

Does Andy have no pals that could decorate his cast in this way?

I only watch EastEnders and I thought you meant 'Andys cast' as in the character Andy has been cast. Damn. That was short-lived. Haha.

My nine year old grandson fell off his bik and broke his arm, everyone wrote their names on his cast etc.

A few months later, his seven year old brother had to go into hospital for a circumcision, before going in he asked his teacher if she would like to sign his willie cast when he came back to school!

Well, made us laugh anyway.

Nah pay no attention 21 is no age even in the 30s I would do the same, you get it signed and have pictures drawn on it that''s how it goes.

Ha ha... funny as...

I have never broken anything apart from my duck but if I did I would definitely want boobs, willies and swear words on mine and I'm 45...

Uncle Q on the DS most wanted list... makes a change from me I suppose...

I can understand Andy's frustration though... from a mans point of view...

It is his right arm after all...

Isn't that all he is anyway in EE - the soap hunk/stud who gets first dibs with any woman on the soap cos he's so damned gorgeous? VOM

What a pity he didn't do something to that face which is always set in grimace mode even when he's smiling. Then he could have massive cast on it and plastic surgery and then come back as someone attractive who it might be realistic for women to swoon over. Big muscley arms and chest alone don't make for hunk. And anyway his character beat his wife. Nasty.

He definitely should have his damaged arm supported by a sling, to immobilise it while it heals.

My mother badly broke her arm many years ago. She never had it in a cast as such, instead one of those velcro things.. I remember how many people were disappointed when they couldn't sign it. But she certaintly didn't move it around like Andy does. However, it was brusied to bug*ery however.

I'm expecting Bluto to be addicted to pain killers by the time his arm has healed, that'd be right.

He'll be storming into the Hotton Chemist absolutely raging.
Roaring about having no pain killers, bellowing about really needing the sods, like right now, and reminding the pharmacist that he has kids.

I fear the arm is only the start of his rantings unfortunately.
