Do you remember when she went in the diary room and pretended she'd drunk all their booze? Saskia was really annoyed. I can't remember exactly what happened. I think she had to steal the booze and give it to the secret HMs, but she pretended that she'd drunk it all herself.

Series 5 is the best, Ahmed's military coup still makes me laugh when I think about it.

And Michelle telling him off in no uncertain terms, completely unabashed by the fact that she's topless.

It really was the best series. So, so many highlights, and every single person in there had a good story at one point or another.

You couldn't have scripted BB5 any better if you tried. Everything fell into place that series. Even Kitten and Vanessa (the early evictees) added to the show. Perfect in every way.

However, BB3 is my all time favourite simply because it was Big Brother at its peak in terms of press interest and hype. It felt like a huge event. Holds a special place in my heart!

BB1-BB7 were fantastic. Everything else just felt too meddled with and not as good.

The thing is, I don't even think of Vanessa as an early evictee, because she crammed so much story in to her weeks in the house. But, then again, despite being the first proper evictee, she was still in there for 4 weeks, which is almost half the series. So perhaps that doesn't really count as an early evictee.

Just think, she had a sort-of romance with Jason, and helped him get off when he wanked in public by making sarcastic moaning noises that he didn't take as being sarcastic.

God, that was a good series. I'm really going to have to re-watch it one day. I often wonder if the fact that I'm older and no longer a boozer means that I would view the housemates differently than I did back then.

I think if you start with rewatching 5 then you can't go back to the earlier series. 5 really was such an epic game changer for the show - anything before that just doesn't compare.

In the early series, it was addictive to watch because the voyeuristic premise was still so new and exciting. I'd happily watch BB2's Elizabeth and Dean debating the best way to pour a glass of wine and find it gripping!

BB3 is special because the hype and media interest peaked in 2002. Jade was on the cover of all the tabloids every single day that summer. Then Graham Norton would do a hilarious monologue about it on his show after every episode.

BB5 had the perfect mix of housemates. Every character played an important part. Nobody was overlooked. BB from 2004-06 were perfect - including the celebrity versions. BB7 had a fantastic start. The first 4 weeks of it were amazing but it tailed off very quickly because some of the bigger characters were voted out too early. As a regular poster on DS during that series, there was a vast chunk in the middle of it that seemed to be all about some big feud between Nikki and Aisleyne - despite only having, in hindsight, a very minor argument that instigated Aisleyne's famous ''you better know yourself'' statement. A feud that I'd imagine neither girl were even that bothered about or even aware of !

BB 2, 3, 5 and Celebrity Hijack. Not many watched Celeb hijack but it was a great series I thought.

5 and 6 are really the only ones that don't peter out towards the end.

4 was really good. Great big house, brilliant hard tasks set by BB, interesting and funny house mates like Jon Tickle and Federico, good female eye candy too in Nush and Tanya, women love Ray.

3 was good and the celeb version shown in Jan 2006 I think with Galloway/Rodman and co was the best celeb one imo.

I'm watching the BB with Aaron in it (hes very good looking) up to the episode where anton and jay are in the secret dead room.

It's an okay series, there is not much bitching/backstabbing esp after watching this years crappy BB . I like it like that though. Aaron and Faye and too cute

So many good ones to choose from the halcyon days of BB! BB3 was my fave with the rich and poor divide. 5 and 7 were classics too.

BB5
BB6
BB7
BB3

Also, Ultimate Big Brother 2010 (18 days) was a mix of 8 of the more memorable Big Brother housemates up to BB11 and 6 Celebrity Big brother housemates, as well as a number of short guest appearances, like Ahmed smashing plates.
Loved Victor and (Nasty) Nick creating their own TV 'show' in the snug (Big Brother's Little Brother's Cousin) and interviewing housemates.

Graham Norton's little rundown of events was gold! You've just brought back such great, distant memories for me there. Good times dude

Miss Russel Brand loads too.... 'If this lot can't make you do an opinion then you are a better man than me' and of course the ongoing journey of his sweaty ballbags

BB5 will make you sad that Big Brother will and could never be as good again. I really liked BB6 too and parts of BB7.

I have gone back to BB5 starting from Day 16, and I'm now up to Day 23, and I'm asctually really enjoying it - Week 2 was a bit boring, and that's proably why I stopped watching. But with the Bedsit twist and Fight night it's really hotting up!

I feel I'm in the minority but I find Dan so annoying! I hate it how he alwaus tries to be the diplomat and peace keeper and talks in cliches, and sucks up to Jason!

I LOVE Nadia! As I type she's crying about how she's feeling guilty and she should leave

I dislike Vanessa and Jason.

I'm looking forward to the first eviction, because the start of the series does drag on a bit, but when the weekly evictions start it's gonna get good

I am now up to day 69 of BB5 after returning to it this winter. Two or three episodes left! Unfortunately Stuart's DR eviction is no longer in YT which is annoying!

What a fantastic series! So many gripping storylines! No manipulation whatsoever, everything is so fair.

The bedsit twist was just done so well and Michelle and Emma were the best 2 to go in I think and there re entry to the house followed by fight night and its aftermath were just gripping, seeing how the cliques really formed and solidified.

I loved the new HM Becki and her Judas Kiss task, and it was hilarious to see Michelle get so worked up!

I think it's a shame how Becki only lasted 12 days as she was one of my favourites - God knows how she survived over Ahmed! But thank goodness Ahmed did survive because even though the task twist itself was genuine, just the whole Michelle vs Ahmed vs Dan thing was hilarious!

The wedding task was so funny too, with victor basically destroyin his chances and Michelle becoming more and more controlling over Stuart - the pairs task in Week 9 exacerbated that leading to Michelle getting herself evicted.

I have felt a bit sorry for Jason in the last two weeks! I am just to glad that Nadia wins. There really is not a single bland character in BB5 - everyone adds to the series in an immense way!

Oh also I am so surprised that Stuart had the least votes to Win on day 69 - I thought it would be Jason or Dan!
