What I also noted in that clip is that Kimberly appeared to be seething when Steven was talking, and was dying to say her piece.
In my opinion Kimberly appeared to be defending herself more from what Steven was saying than whatever Pav had said.
Surely Kimberly can see Steven for what he is now. It's not real love. Obviously we know that it's more like an obsession. But surely she can see for herself the narcissist he probably is from the way Steven has a tendency to protect himself rather than protect the supposed woman he purports to love.
Pav's comments were more incriminating against Kimberly, yet Steven, rather than defend Kimberly, 'the woman he loves', pretty much thanks him for placing the blame at Kimberly's feet. Just so that Steven can look innocent. That's all that seems to matter to him.
If you really loved someone you simply wouldn't do that at all.
Obviously most of us find the notion that they love each other ridiculous and are highly skeptical of this. But provided with the context put in front of us, and if we were to accept that they were supposedly in love, these wouldn't be the actions of a man in love with a woman.
I feel so stupid for even having to post a disclaimer at the bottom of my post because obviously it's bullshit to the majority of us. What I'm probably actually doing is commenting on a situation played out by actors playing characters as if it were all real
