Kris and Sophie (I think she was still Dogface at the time) were called into the Diary Room and told off by Big Brother for breaking this rule by having a fake romance, I can’t remember if they were formally punished for it, however I do remember that Sophie was wearing a tiny little bikini at the time; funny thing the male memory.
It's a joke isn't it, haven't they always exposed any "lets have a showmance" Secrete chats so we know its fake, we can usually work it out anyway.

BB10? You mean the same BB that allowed Siavash to refuse to nominate without any proper consequences for weeks on end? And allowed Marcus to climb on the room? And randomly changed the voting format to save for one week? Yes the rules were certainly respected back then.

I loved how much the housemates broke the rules back in BB10. They realised that Big Brother needed them more than they needed Big Brother. In fact, IIRC, there was a poster here back then who worked on the show, and s/he said that they didn't punish them all that often because they thought that the housemates being punished endlessly would make for boring television.
My favourite was when they talked about nominations so often that Big Brother had no choice but to make it no longer against the rules.
But the biggest shame of all time is that Siavash, Sophie and I think it was Charlie didn't leave the house like they almost egged each other on to do 2 days before the final. I'd have loved to have seen BB try to fill 2 2 hour shows and the live final with just Lisa and David in the house.

A lot of people seemed to have a problem with it at the time, but I thought it was great too. Re. the bit in bold, it's interesting because they basically proved the point that Kitten was making during the first week of BB5, her whole reason for being in the house seemed to be to see what would happen if the housemates rebelled and that was exactly the argument she was making - the only difference is that in BB10 they waited until a few weeks into the series when Siavash and Marcus knew they were popular with the public so the producers wouldn't boot them out, and Sophie certainly didn't fear being evicted. Whereas Kitten was more expendable
I think the difference between Kitten and the BB10 lot, as well, is that most of the BB10 house rebelled, whereas it was just Kitten in BB5. While the other housemates found her amusing, when it looked like it was going to impact negatively on them she lost her support. Whereas people moaned about Siavash, but broke the rules in their own ways, and everybody moaned about everything that everybody did in that series so moaning about people breaking the rules was just part of the ordinary background noise.

Siavash, Sophie, Charlie and Rodrigo went to the DR and gleefully declared that they were intent on walking out. BB calmly told them that they could leave immediately by the back door with no interviews whatsoever and you could see the rebellion drain out of them on the spot. And that was pretty much that.

Yeah I agree - they must have been pretty worried at one stage though as for a few days a lot of the housemates went along with it to some extent before gradually losing interest or bottling it to the point where only Stuart seemed to be on board.
