If little Chris is as intelligent as some people claim, why does he think everyone else is beneath him or in the new housemates case can't be bothered to get to know them? A truly intelligent person would know that all the housemates have something which they could learn from.............Furthermore they wouldn't get bored either.

That doesn't make sense. Intelligent people are more likely to get bored with no stimulus surely...?

Agree. Feel sorry for Chris with so many idiots in the house this year. No wonder he has had enough of it.

An intelligent person would realize a. wouldn't probably go on big brother......b. would be able to engage with the other housemates whatever their level of intelligence.

There are different types of intelligence and it's not all about academic achievement.
Chris seems a bit more mature in his attitudes to other members of the house and more reserved. This doesn't necessarily mean that he is more intelligent though.

The way he 'gets' everyone is amazing imo. He should have been a psychologist, he's as good if not better than those so called experts on BBOTS.

Agree, and that shows emotional or 'social' intelligence at the very least...he seems to have their number, why he's not using that to his advantage is beyond me.

There really aren't many ways he can. As long as Helen has that pass, there's no way he can manipulate the situation that assures he makes someone look bad without looking bad himself, AND get them removed. Helen will always get involved and show her backside, to a degree that makes her look worse than whoever he targeted, and the audience can't vote her out. We've already seen that with Ash. He should've been an easy out his first time up, but Helen saved him. His "boring c***s" rant was completely forgotten in the shadow of "always in the right."

It takes all sorts. Does this mean everyone that enters the house has to be an extrovert ? There's nothing wrong with Chris..

Could'nt agree more. It's actually very telling when an "Intelligent', hm (supposed) or otherwise is in the minority and held up for ridicule.

Grammar police here - put your hands up and move towards the spellchecker.

Chris has nothing to learn from Biannca except to keep all contact to a minimum.

TBF, most of his acting roles are psychotic. She's good research. So is Steven.

Chris is very introverted, as am I so I can relate to his approach. Sit back, get the measure of everybody, then choose your friends and your battles very carefully. It's taken him 40 days to get used to the dynamics of the house then all of a sudden 3 intruders arrive and mess all that up. All those relationships have to be rebuilt almost from scratch and that's hard to cope with for us extreme introverts.

Chris was never going to be the one to give the newcomers the grand tour of the house. Ideally they should have taken him to one side, had a bit of a 1-to-1 chat to introduce themselves and he would have found that more reassuring than having to make sense of all the chaos on Monday night. Anyway now things have settled he's decided he relates to Zoe and he can get along with Pav. It's just Biannca he can't cope with and I can't say I blame him.

he seems to have their number, why he's not using that to his advantage is beyond me.
Ah but he is. The editing might be cutting it out but it's becoming clear that Chris is now very respected in the house as the peacekeeper. He was the one who brokered the truce between Helen and Ashleigh and he was the one Marlon turned to when everyone else turned on him. Nobody has a bad word to say about him now. Steven's pathetic attempt to paint him as the biggest game player thankfully fell on deaf ears.

The way he 'gets' everyone is amazing imo. He should have been a psychologist, he's as good if not better than those so called experts on BBOTS.
Chris is going to be an amazing BOTS panelist in future.

You're right.

The most brilliant people are polymaths, they don't restrict themselves to a narrow world view that disregards everything/anything that falls outside their interests.

It should always be incumbent on the more intelligent to get the most out of the less intelligent. It's how most people operate in the world.

Chris is an introvert, that's his most distinguishing feature, not his intelligence.
It's his endless self regard/navel gazing that stops him making the best of his time in the house.
His world revolves around Chris, if you can fit into the niche he has made for you, then everything is hunky dory.

He's heading for a lonely future if he doesn't get over himself.

You cannot possibly know what he thinks. You just don't like him.

He's reasonably articulate and emotionally astute. And the wonderful thing about Chris is, he's the only one.

Heeeee's. The only one.
