Yes that was a little ridiculous of her. But I don't think it's in the same league as Danielle specifically lying about aspects of her life.

Helen lies every day, about her bitching, and by omission. You don't honestly believe. Danielle came out with this claptrap in the lads mag, surely? It was almost certainly written in house. She has done webcam work, and posed topless, big deal. Where in that does it mean she isn't a virgin, or not go church as she says?

I'm not defending her as such , I'm just saying that there's a difference between the two situations.

I just don't believe that someone who was really serious about being a catholic with old fashioned values would ever do glamour modelling. I just don't buy it. Or that someone who was so prudish would be in any way involved with "lads mags" or whatever.

To each their own, I guess. I can't see that modelling has any bearing on hour beliefs in terms of who you do or don't choose to sleep with. But I understand your view. What I don't understand is why Danielle is subjected to such abuse for either holding her views, or for, possibly, not disclosing fully she has done topless. She can still go to church, and make her own choices on her sex life.

I can see your point and I think that it's quite possible she is still a virgin etc. but I can see why the housemates would react strongly to someone who recoils at the very mention of sex being a topless glamour model. Whereas to share Helens story would probably just make most of them feel sorry for her , it wouldn't really cause any drama so from big brothers perspective what would be the point?

Yes, I do take your point, but, for me, Helen has been cruel and malicious as a matter of course, revelling in things that happen to others,,yet she wants her own past wiped clean. There has been not one mention of her backstory, with it arguably being the most controversial of all. So it seems the advantages for Helen in the game are never ending, and unfair. I would like to see how Helen responds to people being fully aware of who she is, indeed, I think it would cause rather a a lot of drama, as a Helen would take kindly to it, at all.
