As an ex fan of the show I can see that it is worse than ever and I am constantly seeing posts and tweets about how fixed it is along with awful this series is. The producers/Channel 5/Endemol have slowly destroyed a once amazing show and this series is the death knell for the show. I just can't see how anyone can still defend and claim it's not a fix or it's not fake.

Unfortunately because the masses are sheep, myself included.
We all know the show is fake and scripted (the Channel 5 one anyway), we all know we are constantly getting manipulated by the producers and yet we still watch it and spend hours talking about it.
It really does make you wonder what the 'big wigs' behind the scenes in TV land must think of the masses, they must think we are gormless cattle.

Also speaking of manipulation, i heard that same producer guys voice multiple times trying to start the 'Steven' chants in the audience yesterday.
