Yes I totally agree with everything they said about Allison; I dont think that she will be back next year tbh. This week in particular will expose why it was such a bad idea to cast her as a pro because Jonathan will be dancing with another PRO.

While watching/re-watching (because it is that amazing ) Mark and Sadie samba, I couldnt help but to think that " look how Sadie who is the celebrity danced samba BETTER than Allison who is the pro ". Seriously, Allison and Jonathan Samba was awful . She had no samba bounce, no recognizable samba steps....I wonder though..the Troupe and pros usually help each other with choreography and we all know that so I wonder IF she asked for any help
This is just so odd to me; All these girls Jenna, Lindsay, Karina, Sharna....could have helped her Or maybe she didnt ask for any help I dont get it......

Again dont get me wrong, Allison is an AMAZING Contemporary dancer but she clearly has no clues of what she should be doing/teaching in MOST of these Ballroom/Latin dances IMO

Sadie will be in her hometown ALL week (Louisiana ) which means that the pro that she gets will have to travel to her. Now most "dwts fan experts " seem to think that she is going to have Val but Derek was spotted at LAX Departures (LA Airport ) a few hours ago....OMG Im crossing my fingers that she gets Derek.....I really, really dont want her with Val

Artem would be my other choice too for HER but he will most likely gets Janel......

The switch-ups will be announced on GMA tomorrow (Thursday)

I have my quibbles with Puredwts (mostly because I think that they should call it PureDerekHough 2.0 ....the bias they have towards him is just too much ) but I do applaud them for being at the top of DWTS news.

Not sure Derek will be given Sadie. He is the "Star" and I don't think DWTS want him with the controversy surrounding Duck Dynasty. As I said earlier she has lots of haters due to that.

I guess we'll see .......

Thing is, Derek has no reason to get Sadie. Lea and Janel are just as good, if not better. If his fans come out in force, he'll get Janel (the best dancer of the 3) and if his detractors come out, he'll get Lea (oldest of the 3 left). I'm sure Mark would prefer Sadie to go to his best mate (and no doubt Mark'll get Bethany) but for XcX's comment, I agree, Derek won't get the most controversial celeb left in, especially after said controversy was made mention of in her VT this year.

I kinda thought what world does Suri live in with her comments about the pros helping each other , i know they do help each other and they showed she talked to Mark looking for tips on choreography & the judges not technique but put yourself in Lindsay's and Jenna's position tptb gave a pro position to a dancer who doesn't even dance ballroom forget teaching it and then you have to teach her techniques you had been learning for years because she can't do the job she was employed to do which you would love to. I think Sharna and Karina with their experience and standards would be intimidating. Allison as you says yourself is an amazing dancer and probably knows deep down that she doesn't have any time to learn the technique forget teaching it to Jonathan and get a pro to help with Jonathan technique could show Allison's weakness more.

Watched the whole of after buzz and thought Corky was right in most of what he said even though I didn't like him on dwts but found it funny that Anna was more critical with him there it was great to hear such technical critique.


Derek is on Nashville this week and although he has i think finished filming he might be doing promo which is why he could be at the airport.


I don't think any of the male pros have anything to worry about all the girls can dance as for Derek not getting the most controversial contestant he did last year with Nene. Also look at the drama the Derek/Nene switch up caused with Tony's "jealously" the height difference, the Derek fans complaining no Meryl and Derek combo mind you Nene was the only option that Derek could be with last year due to when they had it and his schedule and I think Val showed up Maks enough without Derek fans complaining that Derek should have been with Meryl it was like they wanted to split him in 2 and dance with both Meryl and Amy.

Which switching Bethany & Sadie and Janel & Lea is too simple and not enough drama for DWTS

If Derek was on a plane to Sadie's neck of the woods as per this from PureDwts, then the switch is likely to be the most boring combo for the female celebs (Beth-Sadie and Lea-Janel swaps). It makes it all very comfortable for the people concerned, but I don't really see the point unless you shake things up. Yawnsville!

Its not like Strictly where these 2 factors are kind of independent ; At DWTS they count A LOT; You have a lot of these fanatical fans cough ....cough....Derek fans for example ...... voting for a couple no matter how average the celebrity is simply because they like the pro.

Derek is by far the most popular pro ( when you have him, you are guarantee to make the finale no matter how Average you are; No matter how popular Bethany is on her own, she wouldnt have been able to make the finale with another pro imo;Mark is the exception ) ; 2nd most popular pro is Mark; 3rd is Val.

This is why no matter how great Lea dances in the next weeks, I cant see her going past Sadie or Bethany in the last stages especially because Artem is still very new to DWTS here .If he was at strictly, it these 2 male pros popularity wouldn't matter that much and he would have had a shot at possibly winning.....but on Dwts its different. There is a Hierarchy.

When you combine Sadie's fanbase which is huge as well (because she falls exactly in the key demo ) thats a lot; Same with Derek and Bethany;So these 2 will be in the TOP 3 without a doubt. I still think that its Alfonso and Witney to lose ;

Lets hope Antonio / Jonathan / Michael / Tommy go in any order. Then the competition will be fantastic.

Alfonso & Cheryl- inevitable really. interesting to see Cheryl really crank it up choreographically, it's been a while since she had a really good partner

Jonathan and Peta will be interesting. Peta obviously has a tendency to get the best out of young, attractive men, and with a dance like the Jitterbug, although it's not overtly sexy, it'll likely be a very fun partnership, and with Peta's choreo, most likely Jonathan's highest scores thus far.

Antonio & Allison- interesting to see how Allison does at Bollywood! Not within her Contemporary roots, but without the strict rule of ballroom. Antonio as well might respond well to some more off the wall training than he gets from Cheryl.

Michael & Witney- a nice pairing, she did well with Drew, I imagine she'll be able to pick up Michael's fun side once more and probably get some decent scores, 7s no doubt and maybe a rogue 8, especially with a routine like Disco!

HOWEVER

Tommy and Emma pisses me right off! Is it impossible for her to get someone young for once! I know Tommy's done well with Peta, but I really wanted to see Emma go wild with Jonathan or Alfonso, does she have no fans whatsoever? What an absolute waste!

Bethany Mota and Mark Ballas dancing Hip-Hop- match made in heaven. Wondering if Mark has the same issues Val and Karina had with Hip Hop and his background, but he seems up for a challenge (if he can do an Afro Jazz routine he can do most things!)

Janel and Artem- it's going to be electric, and I'm predicting 10s.

Interesting to see how Val does with Lea, he normally has younger, more vibrant partners, but Lea is really a strong performer and dancer, and Broadway is right up her street. After his Jazz with Janel I think Val might be able to bring out a very strong routine from her!

And if anyone's going to make me like Sadie, it's Derek with a Charleston. I really, really didn't want my favourite male pro going to my lest favourite female celeb, but hey ho.

Very predictable and boring switch up why not just call it the give Mark Derek's dance partner for a week zzzz

As for the styles are trying not to show up Allison as no ballroom standards so Peta cant shows her up and no massive crash in Antonio the wooden actor scores low imagine if they had of been given a foxtrot instead I think Bollywood will suit Allison but Antonio he will have to move more than he has so far

Mark and Bethany - hip hop well Mark as far as I heard is trained in hip hop unlike Val, Maks and Karina, he adds it to routine best eg Sabrina's cha cha

Cheryl and Alfonso - in her comfort zone fierce fiery dance that she excels at dancing and teaching Alfonso is a gift for her

Artem and Janel - seem to really get on from Artem's twitter but boring choice of dance

Tommy and Emma - that Emma got an oldie again but she decided dwts who are known for putting their pros in pigeon-holes but I think this will be good tommy in my top 5/6 with Sadie, Alfonso, Lea and Bethany/Janel

Jonathan and Peta - just as I was beginning to like peta again and her dancing they put her with her typical partner but maybe she could try and show his potential and at least there is allegedly no chance of a showmance

Val and Lea - in both their comfort zones can't give Val something ( ahem hip hop for example) can't do, funny enough neither Bethany or Sadie wanted Val as their partner which I found funny considering that he was so good with edy10's fav.

Michael and Witney - boring pairing again just because she did well with Drew doesn't mind she can bring out anything in Michael because Emma was great with Bill but I find Michael dull

Derek and Sadie - would rather he was Lea & think the charleston would suit Lea and more challenging than broadway but anyways its Derek Sadie is in safe hands but I may be alone here but even as a Derek fan I didn't like his charleston with Amber

The pairings are predictable to say the least. Allison's off the hook, for the time being then. I was really hoping for a ballroom number too. Yes, wished Emma had been given, at least one week's reprieve, from an oldie.

Sigh.....I just want to say that I absolutely LOVE these 2 (even though they annoy me sometimes because they were seasons where I couldn't stand Derek , same with Mark ) ; Have been following them closely for 7 years now and after everything they have been through together...personally and in the media...its just lovely to see them remain brothers/Bffs/ till this day....Sigh....

You're not alone. Even as a Derek fan I didn't care for it either. Mark's Charleston choreography for Christina Millian was much more appealing, I thought.

I think Mark will do well with hip hop. Bethany said she competed (with a team, I think) in hip hop but she wasn't the best.

Curious to see what Allison will come up with for Antonio. So far she doesn't seem to have put her partners front and center. Will it be more Allisonwood than Bollywood? We'll see.
