The routine looks very cute, but it's a good thing Len won't be there because I don't think Derek's favorite hip-grinding move fits in a Charleston. The Charleston does not involve much hip action, if any. See the Strictly pro dancers doing the Charleston here.

Agree with you on Burlesque. Some think it's going to be a comedy routine but that idea makes me laugh. It's gonna be straight-up sexy, I'd bet. To Jessie J's song Mama Knows Best.

Perhaps Derek wanted the Chezza Cole song, although I await to see how it goes with the Charleston.

I thought they would go the predictable route again and choose 'Lady Marmalade' for the Burlesque music, so at least Jessie J, is a more original choice. I think it will be sexy too, can't see comedy working lol. I doubt they will do a Dita Von Teese routine though.

I've always thought Chezza's song would make a great samba.

The burlesque training looked very lifty. (Lindsay and Jenna also feature...and some climbing frame/pole thing). It doesn't really lend itself to partner dancing imo, but there we go.

I thought they might use the Christina Aguillera song from the Cher film as it's quite jazzy-broadway-ish.

They have piqued my interest for this routine, I hope it lives up to my imagings of Burlesque, I'm expecting raunchy now.

Jessie won't sing to that; she's a judge. It will be just like when Cher and Ricky Martin guest judged. They both sang songs, but not while any couples were dancing. They judged.

You can stream it (just type in ABC live stream into google at 1am and Bob's your uncle) or it's normally unofficially online around Thursday-ish again by typing something into Google.

I'm not familiar with ABC's live streaming of DWTS. But I watch ABC East online from one of several different websites, none associated with ABC or DWTS.

Would would happen if you type abc east online into a search box and click on either TVPC.com or LiveTVCafe? Can you get either of those? The show airs live at 5 PM Pacific Time, which is 1 AM London time.

What I usually do is open both TVPC.com and LiveTVCafe at the same time and see which gets DWTS first (or at all). There is usually a waiting time before anything starts; you may have to watch an ad first. Sometimes only one works, sometimes both, but I find it's the most efficient way to see it. I also TiVo it when it's aired here, but that's three hours later and I am too impatient to wait.

Btw ignore the messages such as "this content requires a download" etc. And careful when closing ads because sometimes clicking on the X opens the ad in a new window. I usually just wait until I see a place to click for full screen; that makes most of the ads go away.

Thanks but I can't watch it Live it's past my bedtime. What's the best way to 'catch-up' in the UK? I tried viewing on the ABC website once using an American IP address but it asked to register who my cable provider was!

Be my guest and say Time-Warner. If that doesn't work, say Comcast. They and Time-Warner went in together to buy the assets of Adelphia, which went bankrupt, and they split up the areas of the US between them. Many of us who had Comcast were simply told, "You now have Time-Warner," and others were told the reverse. So one or the other should work. Or PM me your American IP address and I'll look up which provider that would be.

Well Janel's getting into it with gusto. Unless it is x-rated, think they will be ok. I think they are both 'going for it', if they look embarrassed or self conscious, it wouldn't work. They've got to make it believable and I hope they have 'chemistry' as a pairing or it could look awkward.

I think they will be just fine. The only puzzling thing to me is that I saw a few bits of their lifts and tricks and those didn't seem like any burlesque dancing I've ever seen. It didn't look like it quite fit, but then I trust Artem's judgment.
