Yes I liked the routine but agree where was the VW content???? Then that was most of the evening, high performance value, to the detriment of some of the dancing! Lea and Artem had much more steps in their routine, but Lea lacked some ooomph, she seemed quite tired, plus her rib injury, may have impacted on their dance. It did seem they pulled out all the stops for some of the couples in terms of production and staging, the dancing sometimes seemed secondary.

Bethany and Derek are the only couple who don't tweet links of their performances & don't ask viewers to vote pure class. Never heard of Bethany before dwts but i am beyond impressed with her such a mature girl.

No Bethany retweets other saying vote instead . Don't see a problem in people tweeting links to their performances especially for fans who missed the show or who lives overseas and as for votes everyone is looking for votes shows they wants to stay in. Only an issues when they go ott yes I am taking about you Maks and Val especially last season.

I like Bethany and Derek prefer Sadie, Alfonso and Lea tbh but she would be in my top 4 but that doesn't change that she has been overmarked.

This is the only week she re-tweeted about voting, As someone with such high profile online i would be expecting her to do more. Every video she says she doesn't expect her fans to vote and only vote if they want to. I remember Zendaya one of my favorites ever on the show tweeting about voting all the time.

I think Alfonso or Sadie will win but you can never count Derek out Wouldn't be shocked to see Janel and Val in the top 3 either. Lea is a great dancer too but not sure I can see her getting there.

As far as I know, they still show her in flashbacks but as far as her still being actually in the show anymore (filming for future episodes ) , She isnt. So she is not actually a regular cast member anymore in that sense; if Im not mistaken.......

She is filming for future episodes but her character will only appear in flashbacks. People were not happy with the thought of her character not returning I don't really watch the show all the time, but have seen some episodes.

I would predict that Bethany, Sadie and Alfonso will be the top 3. I don't really mind, I think they are all good dancers, as are Janel and Lea.

It's worth noting that Val made a barbed comment at the judges by thanking them for constructive criticism. I think there was a lot of tension between the judges and the pros this week especially. Part of me does wonder whether a lot of the production was forced on them. Thinking about it, Sadie and Mark spent much of the week out at her home so would the pros have really followed them there? Or would they have been tagged on on their return to Hollywood/dress rehearsal? So if production forced these on the professionals it might explain why they were so miffed about the criticism - particularly as Sadie and Mark as they were criticised and marked down for it whereas Bethany and Derek weren't.

I know what you mean. I'm nowhere near 'dislike' - he's a really good entertainer, good dancer and Whitney's doing a great job - but I do find him a little irksome .

I was nonplussed by his rumba this week. I know American Rhythm rumba is often danced faster than the version we see here, but I thought the speed made it lose its character and I didn't see the amazing hips the judges praised . Seemed like a lot of posing from him. One of my least fave dances of theirs, but at least it wasn't swamped in production.
