1-Sadie trio foxtrot : gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous.

2-Alfonso trio Paso......Shocking how they made it work

I thought Sadie, Mark and Emma's foxtrot was absolutely gorgeous. Finally some classic dancing. Mark did a great job of choreo that number.

I noticed Michael W. sitting right behind Tom and the look of pride on his face was so obvious, I guess for both his lovely Emma and Sadie.

Alfonso trio paso was fierce, bad song and all.

How Tommy can make it to the semi final at the expense of Lea is beyond me.
Doesn't say much for the Great American Voting Public.

Brings back such fond memories of Christopher Parker getting to the finals in the first SCD.

Alfonso, Sadie or Janel to win.

I'm gutted about Lea & Artem I've enjoyed Tommy & Peta but Lea, Sadie, Bethany, Janel and Alfonso as the top five would have being fierce!

A quick summary of thoughts on each couple:

Alfonso & Witney - His Foxtrot was good, but lacked a little bit of 'wow' for me. As edy10 said, his Paso music was horrendous, but I really enjoyed his dance in the end and thought the full marks were mostly deserved. I really would like him to make the final at this point.

Tommy & Peta - I skipped both his routines. Sorry, but he shouldn't still be here, especially not at the expense of Lea.

Lea & Artem - The Samba was quite boring, and lacked any real 'oompth' though her technique was good. The Paso was much of the same, though was better overall. As much as I like her, this wasn't a great week for her and I can see why she left.

Bethany & Derek - She was on fire this week. Her Viennese Waltz was slightly flawed but beautiful all the same, but that Argentine Tango. It was the best she's danced so far this series by a mile, and should have had a 40, IMO. At this point, I'd like either her or Janel to win, I think.

Sadie & Mark - I wasn't keen on the Jive, to be honest, but her Foxtrot was gorgeous, even if the out-of-sync moment meant it shouldn't have scored full marks - fair play to her for covering it well, though. However, as a couple, these two just don't capture my attention the way everyone else bar Tommy can.

Janel & Val - The Quickstep was danced great, but was overmarked - 10s for a dance with a very obvious mistake? Her Salsa, however, was fantastic, and also should have had a perfect score, IMO. She is now the best female dancer in the competition for sure.

So seeing a gorgeous foxtrot to that song was a bit emotional for me; It is one of my favorite songs and just a classic.

I didnt even noticed a mistake until Sadie said it.......I have to command Mark for making the impossible here...I cant believe how he made a trio foxtrot work; Emma for being generous enough and who didnt upstage Sadie at all.........

The setting of the this dance with the singers..reminded me so much of the movie...when Four Seasons and Frankie Valli did their Swang Song

Just pure class and gorgeous.....and those dresses were to die for... A stunning routine.

When Tommy was saved I was like... Oh please.

But after watching his FIERCE AND FABULOUS Trio dance I am so happy!!!

I have to give Witney a lot of props. NOW that choreography was something else ; I still cant quite believe that they made a Paso to that song but somehow it worked

Her trio with Lindsay was my 2nd favorite of the night. AMAZING !!!

I agree with your assessment on Bethany; I felt like Derek used her as a prop (like he did in many of their dances this season tbh ) in that Argentine tango instead of making her the centerpiece...I loved their VW though but I thought that it was too short.

I only saw one visible mistake from Sadie <333

I was not a fan of Alfonso's paso. The music was off for me and I could not get into it. He is clearly one of the best though and Whitney for her age is so impressive.

Lea gone.

The right result IMO based on the performances.

I love the trios and I think it is one of the best ideas to come ouf of DWTS. It ups the excitement of the dance and when it is done well, is so enjoyable.

Mark took what he originally thought would be a problem and went with it and he made it work.

I will be looking closely at the nominations at the beginning of next year and I will riot if Mark doesn't nab at least 3 Emmy nominations from this season......

He outdid himself this season. Seriously !!!

I also wondered the same thing; When did Julianne and Artem date It must have been one of these very lowkey relationship or fling and tbh on a second thought, Im not surprised; the dance world is after all a very small world

A lot of people didnt like her comments after they were booted off (as for me , I couldnt care less; they havent been on my radar for a while anyways..... ) but the Derek fanatics at Puredwts and Purederekhough & on twitter are pretty much pissed over that comment (the fact that she added Julianne in the list of Artem's exes )

Disappointed Lea went. Should have been Tommy (or cough Sadie cough). But I think the final 4 are pretty set. Think Bethany and Alfonso are safely though unless they collapse in the public vote. Sadie probably comes through so it's either Janel or Tommy going home.

Like them or not, there is no denying Janel and Val were fantastic. She is a great dancer. Aside from Tommy, it is a strong final five
