What do you make of this particular track? I put it up there alongside No Limit by 2 Unlimited & Dreamer by Livin' Joy.

I love both "Be My Lover" and their other big song "Sweet Dreams". I still listen to both. Other great songs for me at the same time include Maxx "Get Away" and Gala "Freed From Desire" amongst many others.

YES!!! Be My Lover was one of my fave singles around in the summer of 1995. Such a shame it bombed so badly in the UK charts.

LOL, I have to admit I'll always have a soft spot for No Limit.

Isn't this one a gay club/bar favourite? That's the only reason I know it

This was a mainstay on MTV Europe back in the day.

Nice bit of nostalgia hearing it again.

It's a classic alright.
Sadly, the lead singer of La Bouche (Melanie Thornton) was killed in a plane crash around 13 years ago

Such a tune! One of the few eurodance hits that did better in America than in the UK. But by the summer of 95 the female singer and male rapper thing seemed to have become unpopular here. They even edited out the rap for the 96 re-release.

I've seen this on quite a few 90s compilations of late oddly enough
