alot of it is down to the fact its only on for 3 weeks compared to the civilian series, so they havent got to sustain the entertainment for 10 weeks.
I actually think CBB on channel 5 is even better than the later CBB's which channel 4 offered up.
also the castings have been good, even though the term 'celebrity' is very loosely used now.
and the voting system is VOTE TO SAVE. this has been hugely important:
imagine if it had been the other way round? Luisa out first week, Speidi out as soon as they were nominated, those crazy american twins out as soon as they were nominated, Danica out. all these central characters doomed from the off. alot of these series would have turned out very differently using VTE.
