Does anyone else get a recording alert either whilst watching TV or viewing a pre recorded program for a show that is next in line to be recorded, it comes up with a white banner at the top of the screen, is there any way to get rid of this.

Also is there any way to stop the scroll of text on the front display, because it does look like it might get annoying the same text repeating over and over again if that name of the show is quite long

Yes it's the same for everyone and no you cannot do anything about either.
All you can do is send Freesat your feedback in hope they will take notice.

No, it's just another annoying fault with the software. The Foxsat used to give you a time display instead of the programme name, now you have to press buttons if you want to know how long is left of a recording.
