With the exception of Chris everyone who has had it so far went the next time they were up.

Some have gone from loved to hated.

But it's bit all of them on the arse in some way.

I wouldn't want a HM I liked to have it Chris barely got away with having the power and even that as got him nomed every week almost as they knew it was him.

I agree it has been something to be avoided.

I am hoping it is not this time and Ashleigh uses the power wisely.

I'm not a fan so I'm hoping it backfires on her.

It all depends on what 'wisely' actually means. I guess for her fans it would mean anything that got her to the final or actually winning the show, which I guess most people's fans would want. However, if it is to do with removing Helen's pass, I think this would backfire on her as it would look (to me anyway) that she sees Helen as a threat to her winning. If I was her, I wouldn't use the power in that way. She'd need to be smarter than that for it to work for her.

I don't think Ashleigh will do anything to lose much support. She may infuriate her detractors even more, given some of them seem to find the smallest thing to use against her.

Yes, I agree... but she's a bright girl.

Chris was more fortunate in the timing of his being PHM. Pauline had made herself the house 'villain', Helen couldn't be nominated anyway, and he was able to read the public's opinion accurately from their chants. I thought Toya used her power with a fairly good plan. Where she and Matthew screwed up was in believing the group that contained all h/ms not in Helen's set bloc voted. The 'cooler' group have never done that; it's the so-called 'cool' gang who have consistently done that.

It's more complicated now.

I don't think she's any better or worse than most, but I also don't think she deserves the heroic worship she gets here just because she's had a campaign against Helen. If anything it shows she's been very two-faced with Helen. Being happy with the fish task to be onside with Helen and even shoving her mate Danielle aside to impress, only to turn bitter in an instant when things are not going her way.

As I said even Chris hasn't got away with it as they keep nomming him because of it so at very least Ashleigh will be nommed from now on.

Pauline, Matthew, Jale, Danielle and Bianca's eviction had nothing to do with them being power housemate and would've been out even if they didn't have the power at one time. Only Toya's eviction was caused by her being power housemate

I think that would be using it wisely, removing Helen's pass would be a good thing. For the public and even Helen, as if she did stay and she could, she would feel more justified in being in the house. She has picked up a lot of support.

Ashleigh's detractors will call her no matter what she does so I say go for it.Get everyone on a level playing field for once.

The house has been one-sided for too long.
I like things to be fair and I think maybe a lot of the public think that too.

Helen is a liar saying it is a curse she loves that pass and has had it like a crutch. I would not like anyone to have the pass.

I agree with you, but I also believe Ashleigh would have continued to be up for eviction anyway.

It's not Helen's fault she has the pass, so why should Ashleigh bother about it if she thinks she has it in the bag to beat her in the final?

Well Pauline was hated for how she acted as PHM so that is why she was voted out.

and I never said it was directly because they were PHM just that the next time they were up they were gone.

Either way who has had it it hasn't really been a good luck charm tot hem hence why I'm happy Ashleigh has got it better her than a HM I like

Trouble is BB decide what decisions they have to make. Sometimes its like bad whatever you do.

I hope She turns into an evil Genius sat in the diary room chair stroking a persian cat.

In what way has the house been one sided?

It is Helen that has been saying that it is a curse.

I think it was a terrible idea of BB's and no one should get a pass to the final. I honestly don't think Ashleigh has a chance of winning and she knows it.

I think most of the public and most of the HM's did not think it was fair either.

Helen should welcome the challenge and her fans can vote for her.

The pass should be cancelled and not given to another HM.

Its very likely this all could blow up in ashleighs face.

I can't recall anyone saying "I am nominating Chris because he was the power housemate" probably because we have never been shown the nominations as they happened which was rarely.

As we have no idea what Ashleigh will be required to do all speculation is somewhat pointless.
