Christopher actually looks "dreamy-eyed" when he is around Mark. It is amazing how he has fallen for the guy. It seems to have come out of nowhere? Or maybe I just didn't notice it at first.

Mark just doesn't feel the same. I felt awkward and uncomfortable for Christopher when Mark was choosing his band members. The double blow of not even being considered for the after party was cruel.

Mark then made more of an effort with him, but like all acts it had to come to an end as his true feelings leaked out.

I don't think Christopher is deluded about him or infatuated either, he tends to excuse most people's bad behaviour in there as he always tries to see the good in people.

I loved Mark before but he has shown a really nasty side to himself this week.”

This !

I was going to write a post about his change of heart when the new hm's came in you could almost see the cogs turning in his head .
I never liked Mark , i have always seen him as a fake caricature persona , but didnt have him down as nasty till watching his treatment of Christopher and his snappy moods when things dont go according to his contrived storyline .

Mark lost my support when he told Christopher to move to the other bed the night after they kissed and now he seems to want to keep him at arms length but still on a lead.

I appreciate it's his right to not want his personal space invaded but he shouldn't then string him along when it suits him.

Agreed
Then 2 seconds later when he said he thought Steven would go and the others thought it was a bit mean to say that in front of Steven , you saw the panic on his face about people not buying his nice guy persona .
He was worried Steven would keep mentioning it when he said
" He'll probably go on and on about it now " .

In repose Mark is himself, a self-absorbed, lemon-faced little man-child

Throw the camera on him and he turns on the 'my little pony' smile

Christopher seems to get a kick out of being being the servant

"how dare you ask me to fetch you a drink like that!.. but here you are anyway"

I wish Christopher had the balls to just blank him and disregard what's gone on between them but that's not going to happen is it?

Mark doesn't deserve anything but a reality check

It's the old story tho

Great housemate, dreadful person

Oh, Mark's everyone's "bezzy mate" isn't he? As long as it's convenient.

I'd say Mark was a fairweather friend, but he isn't even that, he just seems to pick up and drop people as it suits him. He's a selfish brat.

Christopher is nice and everything, but he's also a complete doormat, and unfortunately that's a bit off-putting and makes him an easy target, and his self-esteem is so low he'll put up with it. I feel sorry for him just for that, but it's even worse with Mark stringing him along and taking advantage, and no doubt Mark will throw him under the bus if needs be. Really Mark's should be the grown-up in this situation and tell Christopher if he doesn't fancy him, but I think it's unlikely Mark is going to do that because he is doing very well out of not being a grown-up in there, with everyone putting up with his tantrums.

I don't understand why it's such a big deal he didn't pick Christopher ? Mark pretty much gets on with everyone in there and it's not like him and Christopher are dating or in a relationship.

Has he not said that Christopher is his best friend in the house? Wouldn't you think he would pick his "best friend" to go to his party?

Absolutely this !!

Mark is a sour faced little fart who uses people for fun.

Christopher will have lots of offers when he gets out of the house.

I find myself quite liking Mark in a kind of indulging a spoiled child way because he can be pretty funny even though much of it is clearly contrived. I definitely do not want him to win though!

Spoiler
So his only reason not to nominate Christopher is because of how it would look to us the viewers? Hmm that shows what little regard he has for him.

Christopher is such a wet drip. Hes needs to forget all about Mark & remember he is on a televised gameshow. If he really wants romance I'm sure there are plenty of lovely guys in Northern Ireland.

Christopher is kind, gentle and imo, quite a stunning looking looking man.

Mark is a tiny little weasel ...not remotely attractive physically or personality wise. Everything he does is so affectatious, right down to his ludicrious voice, horible hair & beard and ridiculous bow tie &teeny jacket combo.

I have no doubt that Christopher will be inundated with offers from (hopefully) some lovely chaps. MaaarkohmyGaaaad, who would touch him with a barge pole.
